External Views Up 1000% Today

At the moment 3.20 pm my external site views have rocketed to over 1000% compared to last month. 
Page views up 95%, impressions down 24%. 
No increase in sales (or watchers but they don't interest me)

 I switched promotions off a week ago.

Is it just me? 
Am I about to get a huge order from someone that wants to decorate their man cave with 1990s vintage posters?

Whilst decorating their man cave their also placating their partner with natural gemstone jewellery it would appear from my numbers (although 0.5% less than yours) ....

Page Views - 233% increase in organic and 75% drop in Promoted.....mmmmm.

No increase in Sales as yet finger crossed!

I did have a similar single day spike a few weeks ago, no outstanding sales,

It is interesting that the increase in organic has such an effect on promoted

or maybe

The drop in promoted creates such an increase in organic

Mine seems to be an increase in external.

Screen grab was a zoom in on the days graph. 
Sales average though, so just a bunch of pixels at the end of the day.

External not up as high as you guys but mine is has been up quite a bit the past week with the odd down day. Could be a Google update or a difference in how Ebay is getting its SEO sorted to better google rankings offsite.

Whats interesting is impressions are down but page views way up, my sales are up too. Impressions down and views up usually means that ebay is actually putting items in front of people who want to view them rather than inflating impressions by showing people things they are uninterested in.

With regards to Organic/Promoted I found as soon as I turned mine off nearly 10 months ago the stats just evened out - any promoted views just became organic ones and organic views actually increased.

Seller hub then performance and traffic

Mine seem to buck the trend, everything but external impressions down.

In Seller hub go to Performance > Traffic, you have bar charts for Impressions and Page views, highlighlght todays bar and see the stats.

There was me buzzing with my record high of 154 page views 😂 Please don't laugh at my pitiful figures I'm new haha however I have noticed recently all figures are going up, it's similar most days now, which is good, and record of 11 consecutive days of sales.

Sometimes it feels that is the only way I got sales , but now things are dire so not sure if it works anymore as they just want us to keep paying more and more

Where I share the results but for me it was a case that promoting just pushed my items off the first page as sponsored unless I promoted at a high rate. When I turned it off my items appeared at higher positions organically than if I had promoted at a rate lower than what was suggested.

It is niche dependent but it seems to work best with those who sell used collectables or vintage items.

Sales being the only figure that counts for anything and they're probably down for most sellers.
