Anyone elses sales stopped in september?

Seller here for over 21 years and yet getting no sales in September for the first time and september is usually a good month for us. Something very very odd here. Anyone experiencing the same? Other platforms booming.

My question is why are the page views a third of what they should be. Is it people are no longer shopping on ebay?

I get the feeling eBay have tweaked some algorithm.

Impressions and page view are a shadow of what they used to be.

Our website is getting double the page views our Ebay listings get, our website page views will keep growing as well as that is where we are putting our focus, in a few months I'm hopeful our website will have 4x our daily page views on Ebay.

Ebay is becoming a smaller and smaller part of our business (by the week).

People are no longer shopping on eBay and have deserted the platform. for other sites.

Understandable so as other sites are far more attractive now, a lot cheaper, better run and also don't have the eBay Big Brother interference during every aspect of a sale.

Sites that are run the way eBay used to be run giving you control.

Other sites that don't have the tech problems seen here with an awful search engine that has become so manipulated it should no longer be called a search engine.

Or problems that when told about, eBay do nothing to rectify.

Other sites that don't have thousands of overseas sellers masquerading as British sellers.

It has been quiet since late April for us, let alone September, things were going great guns, then all of a sudden... poof, sales dropped off like stone and things have been trundling along ever since, to the point my hours got cut, you can guess that's not good when finances are so high!

Stop worrying about it, it's crazy how poeple are ending listings, spending a mad amount on fee's, you are being milked........put your energy into something else.

Would you put the same amout of energy into a negative personal relationship.......

Our sales have droped by 300% from this time last 12 months, which is alarming. But same as other replies our impressions are suddenly around a 3rd of normal. Even though we promote and we refresh our listings daily. Is there anything wrong with eBay do you think or just giving all the traffic to the big boys??

YEAH, I HAVE BEEN SELLING ON EBAY FOR YEARS AND LIKE YOU SEPTEMBER IS USUALLY A GOOD MONTH.....I HAVE HAD 8 SALES THIS MONTH.............SOMETHING IS DRASTICALLY WRONG....

Our sales are massively down to the point we are looking elsewhere to sell our products we are actually losing money being on eBay along with massive loss of sales all the morons are coming out of the woodwork that obviously cannot read a title of a product let alone a description

All my listings are Promoted. Does it do any good? Not as far as I can see.

August wasn't good for me and I was stagnant for two days this week, first time in a year 2 donut days. 
I do promote half my inventory but only at 2%, however my campaign had been running for a month, I end it and start a new one around every 4-6 weeks.

I had around 50 long running quantity listings, all with watchers. Had had sales but felt the watchers were just that, not buyers. Ended all of them, and restarted (not promoted). 

Things started moving yesterday afternoon. Even though I list everyday, I feel like the promoted listings stagnate over time, need refreshing.

No Sales in September starting from 01/09 indicating something has changed. We are dropped to ZERO sales for over three weeks.

Please can someone advise.

I think this may be a combination of things. Back to school, skint after
the holidays, and a reaction to the winter fuel allowance. People are
probably worried about what is coming in the October budget and Christmas
is on the horizon.

Today is my 7th day without a sale!

I honestly can't remember the last time this happened (if ever).

There is always someone coming up with a list of none reasons, there is a list every week, bank holiday, full moon, fact is, ebay is quiet.
