Mobile Phone APP - Can't sign in at the moment

Restarted APP same thing - Can't sign in. Restarted Phone same thing..............................

Tried on iPad same thing.

Direct website is fine.......................

Getting the same error here, works on the computer but not on the android app, keep getting error, signin error technical difficulties

Hi mate,

I wish I could offer you a solution. 

I've tried deleting and clear cache etc.

I think it will be the next update before I can use it again.

Sadly eBay ain't bothered about my custom so I suppose FB marketplace is getting a look in.

Here's what I did. Cleared the cash etc. Uninstalled the app. Shutdown and
restart the phone. Reinstall the app. Start the app. When asked log in make
sure that the consent form is not obscured by the login details. If it is,
cancel the login and agree to the usage agreement then login. You must
agree this before login or the app won't work.

I just had this. Tried clearing cache & data, and uninstalled then reinstalled. No good still.

So I uninstalled, then downloaded an old version (July) from APK Pure, signed in fine there, then updated the version through Play store. All good now.

Thanks for the solution, however, upon updating my bank account information, it's now not letting me log in again. Wish eBay would address this as it seems many people are having the same problem!

WAHEY!!!!!

Well done that man!!! I downloaded 6.161.0.1 (3rd June) from APKPure and signed in and it went straight in. I then updated via Google Play and it took me to 6.182.0.1 and I'm still signed in and all is working perfectly.

The world is right again...... for now

According to a post on the UK community boards, the latest version of the eBay app requires Android 10 or later, or iOS 17 or later.

If you cannot upgrade your operating system or find an older version of the app that works with your current operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk instead.

If eBay browser links are opening in the Android version of the app automatically, you can disable that by going to your device Settings: Apps: eBay: Open by default: Opens supported links and choosing "Don't open in the app". iOS users can tap and hold an eBay browser link and choose "Don't open in the app".

Then updating again on playstore?
