LEAVING BUYERS TO THINK IT IS ME THAT HAS INCREASED PRICES AND SEND MESSAGES AS TO WHY OR JUST WALK AWAY.EBAY HAVE EVENTUALY OPENED A TICKET BUT AFTER 4DAYS STILL WAITNG ON WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU IN 24HRS. HAVE AGAIN SPOKEN TO THEM,WE ARE WORKING ON IT. I KNOW THERE IS AWAY AROUND IT BUT IT MEANS THAT MARKING ITEMS AS UNSOLD AND THEN RELISTING THEM BUT I WOULD BE RELISTING INTEMS THAT HAVE ONLY BEEN ON FOR COUPLE OF DAYS HENCE LOOSING LISTING COSTS FOR 1 MONTH. I HAVE OVER 1800 LISTINGS , SO IT IS A LOSS FOR NO FAULT OF MINE.

There have been a number of threads recently reporting this. It is a glitch connected to VAT hence the 20% increase.
Your listings appear correctly when I look at them using the eBay app.

Thanks for info, unfortunately it is only the lstings that have been relisted in the last few days that have correct price, all old pages are still showing the 20% increase and only when they go around for renewal it disapears even on app. Await Ebay outcome been over a week now. If you look at Ebay item number 364913997422 it shows what I mean. I am certainly loosing sales.

So if an item sells at the moment and the buyer pays vat. Who's getting the vat? Will that be refunded to buyer at some point?
Let's face it I'm pretty sure there are very few sales happening currently.

I am having this issue too. I wondered why I had no sales this week despite having added about 60 new items last weekend.

Same issue here, some of my listings say 20% VAT will be added to the final price but most have had 20% added to my listing price and postage. Its absolutely crazy

The way around this that i have potentially solved and has worked so far but obviously wont be possible if you have thousands of items listed is the following :
Relist all your listings, you dont have to change prices etc as your original price should appear in the revision format. The 20% only seems to appear when you see your listings from a buyers point of view. Scroll down your item in revision format then click on revise with displayed fees or it may just say " save it " . Give it a few mins or more to update and the 20% should have been removed from the listing and postal price

You dont need to relist , you just need to revise, although if you have thousands listings that is going to be difficult. Search in commuity VAT 20% being added to see what i mean

If you are effected there is a fix.
this has worked for many sellers.
Bulk edit " all your items in one go via the " Manage Active listings "
Just select edit all dont change anything and press submit all . It will take about 5-10 minutes for the listing to update after the edit but this should revert the price back to normal.

Hi everyone,
I can confirm that this issue is now resolved. Please note that if your listings are still impacted, you might need to list your item again, and the issue will be fixed.
Thank you,
Marco
