I sold my laptop on ebay for £100 and was to send it to the buyer on 29th Dec.but I was rushed into Hospital and missed the Pickup day My wife managed to arrange another Pickup by courier on the 4th January (with Tracking number) it was delivered nex day Then I received an email from ebay on the 29th December to say they Refunded the Buyer £100 and another email sent 8th January to say Your PayPal account was debited £100 by ebay that is Two Payments of £100 and he still has the Laptop £100 Total £300 ... The last few days I have received two offers that seem like a new form of scam that I havent encountered before.   Two buyers have sent offers (both seemingly located in Singpaore). In the message box of the offer they have this message    “Hi my friend .. I try to pay through PayPal and same with the Bank account, it says that the seller does not accept the payment method for now and sends me this article:”   The link redirects to what I assume is a convincing copy of the eBay login page thats trying to phish your login details.   Maybe eBay should not allow web links to be included in these messages, but hopefully this can warn some sellers. ... Hi   I recently sold an item to Croatis and posted it with Royal Mail on March 12 . Normal delivery is about 6 to 10 days but I expected longer as there was already a fair amount of disruption to air traffic. The destination was Zagreb and around that time Zagreb was badly damaged by an eartquake   Furhtermore the Rotal Mail website cites long delays in delivery in Croatia and due to Covid 19 no signatures are being collected   Any suggestions as to what I should do  ... Buyer purchased one of 4 options on a multilisting that required her to choose an option from a drop down box  On receiving the item she claims she thought the listing was for all four items & that my listing title was not clear. I'm happy to accept the return as a business seller but not pay return postage. However her 'as not described' case means I have to pay postage. hello, i have sold an item. that the buyer says the item is not as described when i listed it. which is fair enough, i saw the flaw in my listing.   so the buyer is asking for a partial refund.   if i accept his partial refund and process it through paypal, can the buyer then after make a claim on ebay saying item not as described and wants a full return/refund.   if ebay accepts it, even though i stated no returns. will i have to refund the full cost amount.  or would i only have to refund whats remaining on the original transaction, as its after a partial refund?   an example:   buyer payer £400 for an item. asks for £100 partial refund.   i give £100 partial refund.   and after if they want to make a full refund.   would i have to refund a full £400? or just the remaining £300?   as i know ebay doesnt deal with partial refunds. so im not sure if the paypal refund would counteract the ebay one. ...
