On November 30, I sent a parcel to the winner of my bidding. The last update on the tracking number is December 4th (Delay - please allow 24 hours). Since then I have not been able to find out what is happening with the package. Hermes only has an automatic customer contact system. All I can hear is they are working hard to get my package delivered. During this time, I had to give the money back to the buyer because he gave up the longer waiting for delivery. Today I don't have my item, £ 70 has been taken from my account for refoud. I cannot communicate with Hermes. You cannot talk to a human in Hermes, nobody replies to your emails. Is there any way to make a complaint or should I give up and think I've lost 70 pounds. I will also add that I have purchased additional shipping insurance. I'm disappointed. I have received the following message from ebay through email and message; We regularly review accounts to keep eBay a safe and fair marketplace for our members. As part of our security checks, we sometimes require a seller to contact us so that we can verify their information. To verify your account, please contact us by clicking on the link below (you may be asked to sign in):   But the link just takes me to a customer service page where I can increase my limit and when I click increase limit it states I am not eligible. I tried searching everywhere even contacted ebay chat and they advised that PayPal issue, I've checked my Paypal account, and it's set up correctly. Please help this is doing my head in!! ... Very rarely sell anything on eBay and haven't had to issue a return for a long time.   I sold an iPhone which shortly after receiving, the buyer said the phone is faulty. I don't believe this to be true (at least before it was potentially tampered with) but that's another story..   I accepted the buyer's request to return after they denied a partial refund on December 13th. When I now go on the return details, it says "We've asked the buyer to post the item back by 30 Dec. Wait until you get the item back before issuing a refund.You should wait until you get the item back before you refund the buyer. Please make sure that you issue the refund within 2 working days of the item being delivered back to you. If the buyer doesn't send the item back by 30 Dec we may close this return."   On the progress bar of the return you can see that 'return started' has been checked off but 'item despatched' is still not checked off and I have had no communication from the seller or eBay to say that the phone has been sent back to me yet.   Tomorrow is December 30th and I am wondering what will happen/what I should do once that date comes and goes if the buyer still hasn't sent the phone back to me. I've read some posts where escalating to eBay results in the buyer getting the refund *and* keep the item, which I obviously don't want to happen, so is it best to sit put and do nothing after the 30th? How can I ensure that the return case will time out/close in my favour and I don't lose both my money and the item?   Would appreciate any words of wisdom!   Thanks, Danielle ... View more

Hi sold my beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO Studio Headphones sent them through GSP now they've been pulled at litchfield under Dangerous Goods Review and classed as Undeliverable any idea why, i think i listed them in the right category (if i have listed correctly  i'd have thought ebay would have stopped me listing using the GSP.).  I'm presuming it's something to do with electronics ! and is that the last i'm going to see of them and the money, once i have to refund them. Sunday Night here 11-00 pm 28-12-20, tonight I wasted over an hour because my new listings were rejected because I had not added an EAN number, so without much success, I hunted high and low on the EBAY LISTING PAGE and there was no reference to an EAN box, so I did a Google search along the lines of "On eBay listing form where is the EAN box situated," not much joy there, other than someone said when you find it put DNA - does not apply. Back to the form I go for the 4th times and guess what there is no EAN BOX, but there is an SKU BOX, CLICK ON THAT and half-way down the page there is well hidden the EAN BOX.   You'd think Ebay Dublin would act on this, but my Google search had old posts from 2016, asking where is it, and no actions been taken. Does everyone think the EAN BOX should be scrapped?   ... View more

Hi,   I sold 2 items to 2 different ebayers.   Unfortunately I had a lot of parcels to post this particular day, and addressed 2 packages to the same guy.   The wrong package arrived first, and he immediately claimed a refund. Sending the other guys parcel back to me (still pending arrival).   A few hours later his actual item arrived, which he is happy with and acknowledged via email.   He now has an open refund case, which he is waiting for to be paid in full (return item pending arrival).   I can only see an option of refunding him, then begging and praying he pays up again. I've been using Postal Rate Tables for my international rates on some of my listings for some time with no problems, then about the 14th Dec these listings started showing the lowest international price to UK customers in searches and in my shop, so instead of saying free shipping it shows +2.50. The strange thing is when you fully click on the listing, it shows correctly as free shipping... I've reported this twice to Ebay who says it will be looked at by the technical people, but nothing happens... So today I found if I stop using table rates, this doesn't happen. So did a bulk revision but the table rate box remains ticked! So does this mean I have to manually revise 1100 listings? All this at a time when I've had to suspend International Shipping and it's killing my UK sales... ... View more

A buyer has opened a legitimate item not received case but over 3 weeks after the due delivery date  - Parcel Force 48. The item seems to have been lost in the post as the tracking number gives no information other than the item is on its way ( which it clearly isn't ). The problem for me is that if I give the buyer the refund he is entitled to I will be unable to make a compensation claim against Parcel Force because the buyers late notification means I am outside the 30 day limit for making claims.  Any thoughts?  ...
