simple delivery

i use click and drop and post all items in the post box outside my house  ive now had all my listings forced to use simple delivery which gave the buyers options (special delivery) that i dont offer. Not offered on any of my listings  Is there any way to opt out so i dont have to drive to the post office every time i sell something? Not sure who this is simple for but not for me

Out of all your items only one shows as simple delivery

most of them qualify for  custom delivery so if at some point ebay change them to simple delivery you should be able to change it back to custom delivery

or are  you saying when you sell an item ebay changes the postage to simple delivery

ps simple delivery doesn’t offer special delivery

its tracked 48 or tracked 24 eta

As the poster  below says postin in a post box is usually fine

If its still Royal Mail, you can drop it in the post box as normal. I put tracked mail in the post box and its first scan is usually later that day after the post box is emptied.

I’ve recently sold a bonnet and couldn’t edit the listing after to opt out of simple delivery. If I delete delivery and change it to free it will just charge me simple delivery not the customer. I have no option to opt out

I have a thermal printer not a normal printer and couldn’t work out how to add it or what to do with the QR code.

There is no option to opt our of Simple Delivery,  it is now mandatory for all Private sellers.  It has some bonuses,  items which are lost or damaged in transit,  then eBay pick up, and pay for those refunds,  seller gets to keep those payments

If you offer ' Free Delivery' ,  this means you pay for that Simple Delivery postage , and eBay will deduct that postage cost  from your payout when the item sells.

This explains the ' workings'  of Simple Delivery.

With 56 of that particular bonnet sold and more than 10 available they should be listed on a business account where simple delivery doesn't apply and you can use your own postage.
