Thanks to all this delivery nosence i've also just noticed how Buyer protection actually works, explains the drop in sales.

As the Buyers' Protection Fee and Simple Delivery only apply to private accounts, you should not be affected by these and other changes which don't apply to business sellers.

Yeah but once all us private sellers are gone, the trump grift will move on to business sellers.

Are you not concerned as a bussiness seller, that when a lot of private sellers go the traffic to the site will be much less? I've allready found i'm looking at Etsy and Vintage far more these days before remembering to check eBay.

You sell music, i sometimes sell rare records/ CD's from my collection. If people like me start using other sites because they just become the defult, then other buyers might start looking there more as well as the defult. Of coarse you can list there, but you will have to start your reputation as a seller on there from scratch, and reputation and trust is a huge asspect when selling rare music items as you know.

I would be absolutely delighted if all the business sellers masquerading as private sellers disappeared overnight. Genuine private sellers are a different kettle of fish - they will always be welcome.

As a business seller, I lose more from dishonest people like you undercutting my prices now, than I would from you not buying from me.

Ebay practically invented the market I sell into by creating a relatively 'safe' & easy environment to buy & sell new & used motorcycle parts. Business's masquerading as private sellers virtually destroyed this category with their dishonesty, the demographic fled to facebook groups where many were ripped off due to lack of buyer protections & now they are homeless.

You are quite clearly a business seller trading unlawfully under the guise of a private account & I cannot help but wonder to what extent your deception runs . . . 

The way I see it, most of these recent changes by ebay are aimed at the business sellers masquerading as private sellers, to maximise the money ebay can extract from their unlawful activities before they finally decide to legitimise their trading by changing to business sellers. You are a part of the proof of my belief, you are just one of the very many business sellers masquerading as private sellers who seem to be the only ones moaning & whinging about it !

Off you go, find your marketplace in the sky, goodbye & don't slam the door on your way out. You sell plant seeds & you are clearly a trader in seeds seeking to make a profit. I can imagine your profit margin is quite high & maybe you have a little chuckle to yourself when the punters hand over their hard earned. Why are you even here? 99.99% of the plant seed buying market would'nt even think about ebay when it comes time to buy seeds.
