Is Simple Delivery now mandatory?

Well its the 16th of April and I am still being given the (very welcome) option of custom delivery. I'd like to think it is because ebay have seen sense and decided to let sellers choose. More likely they have run into problems rolling it out and kic...

Best way to deal with a harrassing scammer

If not a scammer, then at the very least someone I want nothing to do with. So this individual emails me asking for an additional photo of a listed item. They are very rude from the outset, and when I upload the photo to the listing they send an insu...

Buyer protection fee

I understand that eBay has to make a profit but this is just not working. I am having to reduce my selling price by 4% to achieve the advertised price I am seeking, effectively a selling fee of 4%. Buyers seem to be staying away as I have only sold 2...

I had my first experience today of a buyer winning more than one item under the Simple Delivery regime, and it is not great. It is all a bit opaque, but each item individually was a large letter under 1kg, which I think means buyer pays ebay £2.25. T...

Winning Bidders Who Won't Pay

If a person bids on an item in an auction and wins but then refuses to pay without good reason, why isn't there a sanction that prevents them from bidding on other items until they have paid the seller or at least some compensation if they don't want...

SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACTION LONG OVERDUE

Looking at its history on eBay, feedback response continues to be on a decline. One can assume that buyers and sellers fail to leave feedback because they no longer see any value in it and are simply not bothered with its value. Even eBay fail to pro...

No more cash on collection.

Just saw the new seller rules. I've got no issue with the reduction in free listings. But no more cash on collection I do mind. It means there is no way to make a buyer check on collection and once they accept it pay with no risk of them changing the...
