Tracking Delivery

Hi everyone,

Something I've noticed over the last few days is that tracking for my Royal Mail 48hrs Tracked service had not updated on eBay for items that Royal Mail's website had confirmed as Delivered with a photo.

This was concerning because of the upcoming changes to payouts being linked to a successful delivery.

I just want to let you all know that I have spoken to an agent and she told me that it can take up to 24hrs at present to update (it's normally instantaneous in my experience) but with the upcoming changes in-mind, they're upgrading the integration to allow for faster updates (basically instant) so that it won't be an issue.

I thought I'd let you all know as it was a concern for me until now.

I noticed same problem this morning for all items I posted on Monday with RM tracked service, all items had their tracking data removed & not updating since, see more in my thread:

In my experience the tracking data shows once items are scanned  & it never takes 24 hours at least for Royal Mail tracked items.

The link between Ebay & Royal Mail appears to be broken all day today.

I sent some out that according to RM tracking were delivered two days ago, but nothing showing in the eBay app so far. It's disappointing that this isn't showing correctly, but not the end of the world I guess.

ebay know about this is problem and they're working on it, apparently.

I’m currently having the same problem. I posted 2 items on Tuesday 14 by tracked 48 and both confirmed as delivered on Thursday 16 on RM website, yet they’re only showing as dispatched on eBay .

Therefore they’re marked as Running Behind. Usually it shows as delivered within an hour or so of RM confirmation.

as of today Saturday 18th it’s still not confirmed on eBay.
