So, If Tracking is Glitched, eBay Won't Release Funds Yet?

So, I had an order deliver on Tuesday, it was Royal Mail Tracked 24 and delivered on-time. All sounds normal, until I still saw that my funds were listed as pending delivery. 

The tracking from Royal Mail is crashed, just showing that the item is due to be dispatched. Yet, it's been delivered. 

The buyer confirmed the delivery, and left positive feedback. I contacted Royal Mail, who said they can't update it, and I contacted eBay who said that due to their automated systems, they can't manually mark as delivered. 

So, do I just have to wait for like 14 days until they release the funds anyway? Is there really no other way?

There is no other way. Everything is reliant on the system working as intended and if not falls back on the 14 day hold.

If I were you I'd complain to Royal Mail that you have not recieved the service you paid for in regards to a tracked service.

You just have to wait 14 days for payment if RM do not update the tracking

You can claim back the cost of postage from RM as they failed to provide proof of delivery

So what happens then when ebay don't update delivery status even though Royal Mail has updated tracking as 'delivered'? This has been happening for Christ knows how long. Are we just expected to put up with it? This is disgraceful. I have had enough. I currently have this situation with 4 items...royal mail delivered, ebay, NO DELIVERY!!!!! Items delivered 4 days ago. I WANT MY MONEY.

The Info page was written in a way that didn't really note the 14 days for anything other than untracked. 

"For tracked deliveries, funds will be available 2 calendar days after we receive confirmation from the tracked service that the delivery was successful"

"For untracked deliveries, or tracked deliveries with no delivery confirmation, funds will become available 14 calendar days from the order date"

Mine still just says "two days after delivery", which won't happen because it's broken. 

The payout is 14-days regardless? So I will receive my payout on Thursday 20th?

I've seen something similar but there's an additional word in it that changes everything.

"Funds will typically be available 2 calendar days ... blah blah"

They've been using alot of similar terms across the Rollout T&C, typically, generally, usually etc etc.

They are getting out of jail cards for them. Allows them to change things basically whenever they want.

Well this is BS isn't it. No wonder everyone's running to vinted.

Same here, RM have is marked as delivered and ebay shows nothing just tracking number provided.

Absolutely ridiculous!! 

I have £150 sitting in pending, The buyer had the delivery rearranged to their post office and now the tracking hasn't updated to say it's been collected, even though they've left positive feedback. They are also not responding to messages. eBay won't do anything, said to contact RM about it. I NEED my money!!

It's very, very frustrating. Unfortunately, I had to wait 14 days until the payment went to my bank, since Royal Mail couldn't change or update any of the tracking without scanning (or wouldn't).
