Returning

Buyer returned item and said it had a mark written on it saying factory second but that is incorrect. I had free returns on the listing.

Re: Returning

If you have a Returns accepted on your listing the buyer can send this item back.

If they open a case for item not as described you need to pay for that fully tracked return postage if you want the item returned first,  before refunding.

If a straight return is opened for change of mind reason , they need to pay for that tracked return postage to send the item back to you.

There’s nothing you can do. It sounds as if they’ve used this as an excuse to unnecessarily ‘make sure’ they get the refund.

If the buyer hasn’t damaged the item to the same end you’ll at least have it back to resell, so fingers crossed.

Complaining to eBay will not do any good, they just say they don’t see the item and to accept the return.

Re: Returning

Sadly, eBay will always side with the buyer no matter how obviously dishonest they are. However, I believe things are about to change😉.
