Hi all,
For the first time on eBay I have sold two items to one buyer and am looking to do combined postage. One was listed with standard Evri delivery and the other with simple delivery. If I combine both packages into one with simple delivery would both items be covered by the simple delivery protection? Or only the item that was listed with simple delivery?

All ebay says in relation to Simple Delivery is:
For buyers purchasing multiple items from you, combined postage could be available. After the sale, you can check the delivery cost paid by the buyer in the Order Details, Postage Labels section in My eBay, your order confirmation, and the postage label invoice.
I think you'll have to try it and see. Alternatively you always have the option of cancelling the current transactions (refund will be issued in the process) and relist on one listing for the buyer to buy and pay again.

If the simple delivery label would be sufficient for both items you could do it. But if it got lost ebay would only reimburse the one that sold with simple delivery. They would have no responsibility for the other one and you would have no one to claim from for that one.
Combined postage is going to be very difficult with simple delivery.

Sorry can't help but this 'simple' delivery nightmare has so many problems I am dreading it becoming mandatory. Stop the world - I want to get off.
Combined shipping is one of the reasons I have never offered 'free' (inclusive) shipping on my listings as it gets messy when a buyer buys multiple items agreeing what the delta in shipping should be when there isn't even a reference for what the item prices might be without shipping.

looks like i am going to have to delete all my listings - i sell cheap items for £1.80 postage, when that becomes £2.70 it's going to wipe out most of my buyers and if they can't even combine postage its game over
