Delivered but eBay isn't updating?

Hi all,

I have a problem: I sent off an order by Royal Mail 48 Tracked a week ago and my buyer confirmed that it arrived on Monday. When I enter the tracking number into the Royal Mail website, it registers as delivered. However, when I check the delivery status of this item on eBay, it's not even registered as 'Posted to buyer'. Does anyone have any idea why this would be and how I can correct it? I've never experienced this before.

Hi.I'm hoping for the same then. I have confirmation they were delivered on the 12th Feb. Just stupid that ebay implement this payment hold when they don't have a compatible service with Royal mail. The old ebay was much better. I won't be with them much longer.Sent from my Galaxy

I've got deliveries made on the 12th Feb sent on a tracked service still not updated on ebay.  All confirmed as delivered on Royal mail though. If ebay are implementing this payment hold till delivered they should at least have a computer system compatible with Royal mail.Sent from my Galaxy

I have about 10 items that have been delivered but no tracking on ebay so I wont get paid & ebay wont do anything about it!  It has to say delivered on ebay to get paid, spoke to RM they know its been delivered but the 2 systems arent talking to each other so its a nightmare! Hopefully if enough sellers complain ebay might rethink their new system!!! very annoying....

I spoke to royal mail about my deliveries that have NO TRACKING on eBay & RMs system states 'delivered' but thats not getting through to eBay! The new system of getting paid when the item is shown as delivered is not working properly. I have £100 in sales which I cant access because ebay thinks they're in transit but they've all been delivered! If they hadnt been delivered the customer would open a case which they havent. I messaged my buyers to confirm delivery & ebay will not accept a message from the buyers stating its been delivered! So what are we supposed to do??? You would think that if ebay were designing a new system based on RM tracking they would work with RM to ensure the 2 systems can communicate.......

HiI've just spoke with customers services and they have released most of my funds after checking the tracking manually. I actually have the money in my bank too.  They are due to ring me in a couple of days to check the rest, despite them already being delivered.Requesting a call back seems to have resolved this for the interim as the email from their customer service colleague was rubbish and just told me to contact royal mail.Don't know how true it is but the girl on the call said royal mail were updating last week and had some issues connecting to ebay?? I have noticed tho if I buy the postage direct from royal mail I have issues. If I buy through ebay it tracks no problems.Hope you get sorted soon. 🙂Sent from my Galaxy

I am having this regular since Ebay have changed payment to 2 days after delivery. It seems like they are keeping it in their bank to make interest. Im regularly on live chat complaining . Getting sick of it. Looking for new place to sell. A lot of people will be. Not good having to fight for your own money. Well done Ebay. NOT

I have had this problem trice now it means that I'm having to wait much longer for my payment which isn't good! This new system that eBay have introduced us rubbish in my opinion, I've now started to sell my products on other  platforms.

Contact Customer Services with your tracking information and they can release payment.

Customer services refused to release payment until after a 14 day period
despite the customer confirming delivery and also leaving me positive
feedback - this new payment system it utter rubbish!

I have the same problem with a few of my items. Even though item delivered and feedback left, no updates on ebay. So i consequently have funds on hold, and have to wait for payout. It is also having an effect on my ratings, as i now have late delivery points against my 100% clear scorings previously. Typical Ebay, for every change it makes, 2 or 3 problems arise with things never had a problem with before.

I don't understand why eBay changed things the company is clearly being run
by idiots! I was quite happy paying a small amount of commission for each
item that I sold but for some unknown reason they decided to go down this
road
This has effected my sales drastically I am hardly making any sales now. I
don't understand what they are trying to achieve as it worked perfectly
fine before they changed it.

Hi,.not sure if it's too late to reply to this thread but I have the same issue with a parcel I sent Royal Mail. The item was sent tracked 48, it shows delivered on the Royal Mail website but for some reason doesn't even show on they have received it on eBay. It's showing as delivery running behind. I just don't want to get a late delivery strike for no reason. Thanks

Hi, I've just checked the tracking and it was delivered yesterday morning. The tracking on eBay doesn't even show the first scan though which should have updated on Monday when I dropped it off at the post office, it's showing as I haven't yet dropped the parcel off .  Thanks.

I'm having exactly the same problem. I sold an item on Sunday, it was sent out on Monday as Royal mail special delivery 1pm. Its been delivered to the buyer as he's messaged me and given positive feedback. However none of the tracking has updated showing its delivered. Funds are stuck on hold and both Royal Mail and Ebay tracking hasn't updated since 6am 20th May 25 (yesterday at the time of writing this) even though its been delivered to the address, buyer is happy and feedback left.

Seems to be a common thing happening!
I ended up just waiting and it did release the money to me eventually.. but
took longer then it should.. can’t remember how long it was now but think
it was approx a week or 2 x

A miracle happened as I posted this signed for and arrived today and tracking worked.

I have another buyer so wanted my item reduced and postage cost me more and refuses to reply so I wouldn’t have got payment it this wasn’t updated I wouldn’t get payment. How rude are these buyers!
