Hi, I recently sold an item for £65 + £10 p&p and I sent the item via DPD. Today my payment was paid into my bank account but I only received £65.10?     So I made an offer on an item and the total cost was £150. When I put the best offer in, the item description or title did not say anything about the machine being for spares/repairs. Only after my offer was accepted and I paid without thinking to read the item description again because why would you? You would pay as I did. So I've paid and layer on the same evening I've seen her item description changed to saying what's wrong with it and at the bottom saying" I won't accept a refund bevause I've said what's wrong with it"   I messaged her and she was so rude, saying that the description was there when I put my offer which it wasn't, because I don't offer on something that isn't working properly. Now I can't cancel it or refund it. Because she was being so argumentative I've just told her fine. I can see how it works and try to deal with it. I bought a laptop battery late August 2020 and is suppose to have a warranty for 12 months. The battery has not been funtional since April 2021, I contacted the seller 2018shop and they don't want the original battery back, but want me to pay £7 postage for a new battery. I told them the postage was too high as the original item was bought/sent from the UK and I live in UK, the battery was sent by Hermes and battery is still under warranty. The seller then sent me a message asking for my personal email address and I replied asking them why as we can contact each other via ebay. They replied back stating "we have sent you message, but you didn't reply, so we asked your email address, you can just pay to this address: mycartworld(at)163.com". Hi,  Please can anyone advise me on needing to return an item ordered by mistake? I immediately requested to cancel, but when seller answered 4 days later, they said it was too late to cancel. They were rude and nasty when I said I would say this in review and accused me of extortion for asking for gratis postage as a good will gesture! This will cost me >  £8.00 and was wondering if I do a return via Ebay if it will cost me more? Once I press 'submit' to return how will I be able to cancel it if the p and p is more? Thank you. ... since early jan 2021 i have been waiting for  item, that ended on 25-Jan-21 01:37:58 GMT -. all my mail has been via ebay. the last message sent below. I have sent ebay a letter asking about the fact i wanted to leave an absolute negative against this service and note that because of my trusting nature and the fact that even though all has been through ebay messages I doubt I will not be able to get my money back paid. As it is not much I had agreed to a resend if not refund. It has not happened either one and doubt I will get it returned I would have expected a response at least from ebay and request if were possible to leave a negative response on seller as of yet I have not. I had to go on the shop contact to send messages as the other way has stopped which is were I noticed they did not have the product I order in their listings. Is there anything I can do to deter others from making my mistake in trusting That being said I have wrote to ebay with my complaint over such though doubt They can or will do anything because of the time period and my trust. Please can someone break this down for me.  Selling on behalf of elderly neighbour..... Final transaction price is £106.96 (£100 + £6.96 p&p).  Why am I paying £13.99 fee?  So 10% fee is £10.97 + perhaps 50p for buy it now? So, that's £11.47.  Where's the other £2.52 come from?   ... View more
