I bought a laptop battery late August 2020 and is suppose to have a warranty for 12 months. The battery has not been funtional since April 2021, I contacted the seller 2018shop and they don't want the original battery back, but want me to pay £7 postage for a new battery. I told them the postage was too high as the original item was bought/sent from the UK and I live in UK, the battery was sent by Hermes and battery is still under warranty. The seller then sent me a message asking for my personal email address and I replied asking them why as we can contact each other via ebay. They replied back stating "we have sent you message, but you didn't reply, so we asked your email address, you can just pay to this address: mycartworld(at)163.com". I can't see anywhere on ebay on help and support regarding replacement or refund on an item under warranty.
