Fake messages claiming to be from ebay

Hi,

Has anyone else had (fake) ebay messages claiming to have delivered a parcel with fake tracking numbers? This is has happened to me twice now. Curious if anyone else has had this experience.

They will not be ebay messages! Where are you seeing them, more likely emails. Ebay doesn't deliver anything so why would they contact you about an undelivered package.

It is a very common scam, just delete.

Thanks. I'm aware they're fake I was curious whether this was a common problem. This a recent occurrence for me having been a user of ebay for a while now.
