I updated my account details for their new way to get paid.  (Good thing I just sell extra stuff every few years.)  It isn't set yet because I didn't receive the micropayments.  (Called my bank to verify that.)  Can't contact eBay's practically non-existent customer service.  Any ideas?  (No help and contact topics fit, haven't found an "other" one yet.)  Thx.  Sorry - surely I would be more adept at this if I were more practiced. ... Hi ebay community Today I have my item returned as misdelivery to Argos. Buyer says that never got notification from Ebay that item is ready for collection. After 24h they returned parcel to me (Hermes). Buyer provided me with his personal adres this time. I provided tracking number, so buyer should get any message from ebay? what I should do now? Is anyone else having problems getting a item not received case case closed? Buyer opened a case on the 26th June claiming they hadn't received the order. The Royal Mail tracker very clearly says that they delivered the order to the buyer on the 24th June. I contacted Ebay on 26th & despite having the tracking number & the man saying that the order had been delivered I was told I needed to wait until Monday 28th June & call back to get the case closed.  I called back on the 28th as requested only to be told I had to wait another 3 days to get the case closed. (once again the man on the phone agreed that Royal Mail had delivered the item on the 24th June.) I have never come across this before ... Ebay customer service has always closed these cases for me when I provide them with the tracking in the past.  Not sure what is going on??? Is this a new way of doing things? If it is the new normal it creates a lot of work for us sellers & takes up a lot of our time?   ... View more

Is it possible to have it marked as delievered  as I have provided them with the goods they ordered. Ebay doesn't have an option for "Giftcode" or whatever so I'm unsure as to what to do. The funds are marked as on hold, but the item i don't think will ever change to delivered as there is nothing to post.   Edit: The items being sold are under the Exceptions list (https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/digitally-delivered-goods-policy?id=4289&st=2&pos=1&query=Digitally%20delivered%20goods%20policy&intent=digital%20downloads&context=DEFAULT_BUYER) so it is not a prohibited item and the issue is because i am a new seller so ebay keeps the funds on hold for 21 days.   The issue has been solved ... I am new to selling on eBay and have recently sold 2 items to the same person. Their profile page says they are based in Algeria but their shipping address is in China. I have done a google map search of the address and it doesnt seem to exist. We have had a lot of discussions about shipping and they were trying to insist i sent without compensation. Hello everyone, I have recently started a return process for an item and proceeded to buy the label for a Collect+ service to return the item. I live close to a Collect+ shop that can return the item but the label that I payed for on eBay cannot be used at the shop, it has to be printed and then given to the shop. I don't have a printer and I don't live anywhere close to a place with a printer. I have closed the return case hoping that I would get a refund and I would be able to start again since the label was already created for that return but this is not the case. eBay does not let me start the return again unlike Amazon. This is really frustatring. I am trying to contact the seller but I don't know if I will hear back or how easy it will be to return the item without an official case for it.
