Today I have my item returned as misdelivery to Argos. Buyer says that never got notification from Ebay that item is ready for collection. After 24h they returned parcel to me (Hermes). Buyer provided me with his personal adres this time. I provided tracking number, so buyer should get any message from ebay? what I should do now? It is not easy to contact ebay, is that buyer should do any action first?
You don't need to contact ebay as they will consider the matter closed now that the item has been returned to you.
You may cancel and refund your buyer, using 'Buyr asked to cancel' this will give the buyer an automatic refund and you will get your selling fees back.
Alternatively you can resend the item to your seller, but use their home address this time. It is up to you both to come to an arrangement about who pays the postage as the mistake doesn't seem to have been caused by either of you.
