Is it possible to have it marked as delievered as I have provided them with the goods they ordered. Ebay doesn't have an option for "Giftcode" or whatever so I'm unsure as to what to do. The funds are marked as on hold, but the item i don't think will ever change to delivered as there is nothing to post.
Edit: The items being sold are under the Exceptions list (https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/prohibited-restricted-items/digitally-delivered-goods-policy?id...) so it is not a prohibited item and the issue is because i am a new seller so ebay keeps the funds on hold for 21 days.
The issue has been solved
Found out the issue was the fact that I'm a new seller so the funds will be held for 21 days at first.
It is time you looked at Prohibited Items and found that Virtual Items are not allowed.
Just as you can't prove delivery, so the buyer could open a Not received Case and get a FULL refund, you would get no support from Ebay, as you are breaking the rules.
" The items being sold are under the Exceptions list so it is not a prohibited item"
What exceptions list?
eBay don't make special exceptions.
You should find the information you need here
I've worked out what the issue was already, I know what I need to do for the future as well so people commenting on this post are now providing nothing to help. I'm fixing my listings (I've taken down the existing ones for the meantime) to be proper instead of not quite right. eBay really doesn't make a lot of information easy to acquire but I am in line with what's allowed to be sold and I am selling them correctly, my main concern was the funds being on hold but they're going to unpend after 21 days because I'm a new seller which was the only answer I needed
For information ... Digital/Virtual delivery of Games membership, Codes, Trades, Vouchers,Exchanges, Pdf email downloads etc. is not allowed on eBay UK (with a few exceptions) ... Physical or hard copy delivery of items using tracked delivery is needed to defend Chargebacks and refund claims for'Not as described'/'Not received' etc. cases ... you will have No payment protection and it could prove to be an expensive selling method !! >
