I have just had my listing removed for a 3rd time which was for a brand new genuine football shirt, after the first removal i contacted ebay and was advised to send in a copy of the purchase invoice which i duly did and they accepted, i was told today that they are not allowed to accept invoices and that there is absolutely no way to prove if an item is genuine so when i actually asked are ebay banning the sale of items such as clothing, shirts, shoes, basically anything that could be counterfeit i was advised yes if items are reported whether guilty or not they will be removed and not be permitted to be put back on and you are not allowed to prove in anyway they are genuine. surely ethically and morally, this is wrong, to punish everyone and you are not allowed to contest it, be interesting to hear any thoughts on this from other members    ... Hi, I returned an item for refund and have received the refund. Tracking says the item was delivered to seller, but it has just appeared back at my house with a Royal Mail "addressee unknown" sticker! Do I just keep the thing as well as the cash? ... View more

A buyer from France says I sold him a item that failed after a short time. I have no record of this person buying anything from me and I told him this 5-5 times, I asked for his details 3-4 times and nothing is returned. I spoke with cutomer services and agreed that I should just block the buyer, I was also told that this would also stop him from messaging me, but the messages still keep coming, what can I do to stop this?   ... Hello folks, I won a bid on Sunday evening and paid for the item straight away. It's a local collection for me but the seller hasn't responded with the address or agreed a collection date. I've sent 3 message but no response. I know it's only Tuesday but eBay says it has been collected, which it hasn't.  Am I being too pushy and panicky or is this not normal activity by the seller?   Thanks, Mark ... View more

Apparently eBay sends a collection/QR code when you pay for a Buy It Now item. I bought a cooker recently but there's no sign of any message from eBay for it and I don't know where else to look apart from in my Messages. Has anyone else had the same problem and how did you resolve it? eBay customer support is apparently offline and the seller is putting pressure on me to close the purchase.    Thanks for your help! ... Over Three weeks ago I sent parcel next day delivery signed for , the parcel arrived proof of delivery  , Royal Mail scan picture of  gps coordinates , but on same day it arrived to customer he stated it never arrived even on the day he tried to put a claim in with Royal Mail messaged me said I have to put claim in , I didn't of course as I have all proof it was delivered even Royal Mail confirmed it was delivered as I contacted them . The problem is eBay paid me the money but they have minus the payment till case settles but I have not heard anything from eBay or the buyer in 3 weeks . I currently have a few items listed as a private seller. One of my items the bidding was going really well and there still 2 to 3 days left. A chap joined the bidding at the early stages by bidding up by £2 on a number of occasions. The bidding had reached £40 this chap had bid up to the £40 which was £9.50 short of its reserve, then this chap cancels his bids which meant the bid price dropped down to £28. The reason this chap gave, was he entered the wrong amount "am I missing something here" it is of my opinion that if a person bids a number of times for a item let's just say six times, then they cancel by giving the reason, that he entered the wrong amount. In this case I  believe after a full and thorough investigation by eBay this chap should have his eBay account frozen for a short period to prevent these people from being dishonest.
