How do you get to speak to customer service regarding wrong selling price at checkout.

I doubt if there would be any point.  If you tell us the detail we will advise.  There are times when VAT is added at checkout; is it that?    If however you make an "offer" that will only cover the cost of the item without postage.  That applies even if you say "to include postage" [does not work]

Normally though the "price you see is the price you pay".

There's a Help & Contact tab top left of most eBay pages, but I doubt if a selling price at eBay checkout is something that they can help with. An item sells and the sold price plus the postage price will show in the total that the buyer pays. If it's an international transaction the buyer will pay the VAT and import fees there too.

How is the selling price wrong?

At a guess this could be why

Starting 1 January 2021, eBay is required to collect VAT on certain orders delivered to UK addresses:

  • Orders up to £135 sent from outside the UK
  • Orders where the item is located in the UK, but the seller is not a UK seller

If that is why then no point in contacting ebay as they collect the taxes for HMRC

If you really need to contact then top  of the page under Seller Help or help and contact then scroll down to see the options

it will be call me back or chat with us
