Seller not responding to emails

Hello folks,

I won a bid on Sunday evening and paid for the item straight away. It's a local collection for me but the seller hasn't responded with the address or agreed a collection date. I've sent 3 message but no response. I know it's only Tuesday but eBay says it has been collected, which it hasn't.  Am I being too pushy and panicky or is this not normal activity by the seller?

Thanks,

Mark

It happens. It's surprising how often one party or the other seems to have no sense of urgency about arranging collection. You can try getting the seller's contact details and phoning them: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/ebayadvsearch?_sofindtype=9

Items for collection in person and paid for through eBay's checkout by a qualifying method are now covered by eBay's money back guarantee. If the worst comes to the worst, if the seller hasn't offered arrangements for collection after 7 days you can open an item not received case, through the resolution centre.

This is explained in the terms and conditions, see: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/money-back-guarantee.html

You can try geting their contact details from this link, bearing in mind that they will also get yours.

It's always better to pay cash on collection for items you are collecting in person, but as you have paid, if you don't manage to collect at all, you can open a Not Received case here Resolution Centre after about one week.
