I have an issue, where during an auction, a bidder asked me to take back his last bid he had made by mistake. Due to my lack of knowledge I had no idea how to resolve this and used the eBay online help, and after pressing a few buttons managed to remove his bid.   However, what I didn't know was that he had placed a bid for £60 and at that time the auction was standing at £40+   The next thing that happened was that his automatic bid kept coming in after each time he was outbid and luckily someone bid over his £60 otherwise I would have been stuck having to start all over again!   Im not sure what I did wrong, but surely it should have pulled him out of the race altogether?   D ... Sold a used jigsaw listing stated the box was damaged and the pictures showed this.The buyer has said the box was damaged and sent pictures matching my ones.l offered a refund on the return of the item .At first they would accept a refund and to keep the item in exchange for not putting negative feedback ,which l refusedt hen they said they wanted the postage for me to return the item from America which l did not receive and eBay says l have to provide this which will be more than the item is worth so will be more out of pocket or they receive a full refund and keep the item for free,that means anyone could do this according to eBay as the item did match the description and photos proved this ... Hello.    Under managed payment, no payment is made into your paypal account from eBay sales but shipping fees are automatically deducted from your paypal account.    Are you meant to transfer funds from your bank account to paypal account to make sure there is sufficient balance to pay for eBay shipping fees?   Many thanks   ... hi, i initiated a return but dont have a printer connection. i sent it via royal mail and have the reciept and tracking number but there is no way of marking the item as sent/ dispatched. when i press return details it still looks like it is unsent and is awating me to print the ebay dispatch label. i wasnt ever given a choice to choose any other option.   what do i need to do ? thanks ... I have recently switched to have all my payments being put directly in my bank account, rather than through paypal.   Now I'm confused, I can see My eBay > Account > Transactions page that I have items that have been paid for by buyers. When I click on Transaction Details for any of these, I can see that it's marked as completed and states that the funds are in my eBay account. How can I see this eBay account? I can't see any funds arriving in my bank account so am hoping this money is sitting there somewhere that I can request down to my bank account.   If I go to My eBay > Account > Payment Options, if I click on Transactions it says there's none, and Reports also says there's nothing.    So where can I see the balance in this 'ebay account' and be able to collect my money. I'm at a loss.   I bought an item, via eBay, mainly because I hate Amazon's ethos.   Imagine my surprise when said item arrived at my door today - FROM AMAZON.   Hello?  I purchased this item from an eBay seller.  I support eBay.  I love eBay.  Amazon however, are ruddy expensive to buy/sell from and are very draconion ... power mad, in fact!   What are eBays rules/conditions about this?  Does anyone know?   AND, what are eBay doing about it? I've been trying to issue a partial refund to a buyer (postage saving), eBay help says to go to My eBay Sold and choose Send Refund from drop down memu, I can't see this option in the drop down menu, can anyone help?   Thanks   Kenn ... View more

Hi All,   hope you can help me.   I have recently had a clear out and sold some stuff on Ebay.   1 item sold ; but the winning buyer contacted me requesting to cancel purchase as he had got the same item cheaper. no apologies , just expectation. As I am an infrequent ebayer,  I said I would just check that I wouldn't incur any charges for cancelling and relisting; which resulted in an mildly abusive email "saying any decent person would just cancel sale".  As a result, I told him I would let the resolution centre deal with it , as this was not an acceptable response. This resulted in him calling me a loser!     I have been through the resolution centre and can now relist my item;  But when I tried to leave feedback the only options are 'positive' or 'report buyer'.  I have checked this buyer's profile and it is showing 100% positive,  despite failing to pay and going through the resolution centre.     I have reported him verbally to Ebay, and have blocked him from my account as advised; but feel frustrated that there are no warning flags to potential sellers about this buyer.    This cannot be right !   Frustratedly yours   Dawn ...
