The antenna was described as easy to install in a few minutes and that it was supplied with a Television connector (which the TV industry and the general public myself included would understand as a Coax socket). when it came to installing it approximately one month later 25/04/21 I found that the antenna came with / was supplied only with a F-Connector the type of connector that is fitted to set top boxes, cable tv boxes, router boxes, freesat boxes etc. etc, not on a television. My husbands ebay account has been locked and says we need to contact customer services/fraud department. Each time we ring, it is either engaged or it goes through asking what we need help with, date of birth, it then rings, puts us in what I can assume is a queue then it says to call back during opening hours. As Ebay have decided that sellers can no longer accept PayPal and must use their own factoring business instead, I've decided I don't want to sell anything on Ebay. In fact Ive started to give stuff away instead using Freecycle or sell more valuable items through other channels that do allow vendors to use PayPal.   My question is, do I need to change my Ebay account settings in some way to remove the seller tools or will those simply evaporate on the 31st of May? ... Hello, I hope someone can advise me 🙂 I have been an ebay member for a while now, but I have decided to take the plunge and sell as a business. When I go to upgrade my account it only gives the the option of selecting company or partnership-which I am neither, just a sole trader. I have rang ebay to ask them what to do, as I would like to open a shop (but I don't want to confuse matters by opening one as a private seller when I am trying to change to a business account). I am still waiting to hear back from ebay but I wondered if anyone has any ways around this at all please? I have at least started my returns policy for DSR, notified HMRC and sourced insurance, is there anything else I can do? I cannot enter a company reg number as I don't have one and I cannot make up a partner either! If I choose the company option, it is asking for bank account verification etc, which I have already had verified for a long time with ebay and as a sole trader will just be using my own account. A buyer has bought and paid for an item. He has asked me to use a different delivery service and has agreed to pay the additional cost. During the exchange of messages I offered to sell him an additional exactly similar at a discounted price to be despatched in the same box as the item he has already bought without any additional delivery cost. A buyer recently requested a return for an item that they had purchased in error. The item had already been posted before the buyer had requested a return.  The item has now been returned by the buyer but eBay is now requesting that a full refund including postage is paid to the buyer. This is my first experience of a seller on Ebay. Have got one confusion about labelling and postage. When I got the payment for my item, the next morning I packed and labelled the parcel, went to the Post office and sent it  at my expence. Later at home, I found out about the labelling service, which automatically printed a label and put a tracking number. However I made it void since I had already paid and sent the parcel. My worry is about the tracking and checking in that the item has been dispatched and delivered. Is it possible to do it manually putting manually the tracking number that I have got from the Post Office slip? ... View more

Why do so few buyers leave feedback ? I would guess that 1 in 30 take the trouble and it really means so much. I always thank buyers/winning bidders when an auction finishes and tell them when I will be posting and leaving tracking details. I take great care with packing - treating every item the same whether sold for 99p or several £s. I wrap all items in new tissue paper and weatherproof  outer packets. It does make all the effort worthwhile to receive positive feedback. I know some sellers actually ask for feedback but I don't.  ... View more
