Feedback

Why do so few buyers leave feedback ? I would guess that 1 in 30 take the trouble and it really means so much. I always thank buyers/winning bidders when an auction finishes and tell them when I will be posting and leaving tracking details. I take great care with packing - treating every item the same whether sold for 99p or several £s. I wrap all items in new tissue paper and weatherproof  outer packets. It does make all the effort worthwhile to receive positive feedback. I know some sellers actually ask for feedback but I don't.

Feedback is voluntary and you are right not to ask for it.

Many dont leave it now but does it really matter?.

You probably really should not be contacting them at all

You dont need to tell them the item is on its way as you mark it as Dispatched or put the tracking on the item

In fact some get annoyed at sellers contacting them.

I agree with you about the care in packing

I always think that is the first thing the buyers see and bad or sloppy packing can put then right off.

Is Voluntary, also a dying art. A lot of Buyers now access EBay on their Mobile Phones. I doubt they even see the Leave Feedback Link unfortunately.
