Hi, Today I asked two questions of a seller, well really the same question twice.  From their answer, I thought they perhaps didn't understand the first time.  Then I got a sharp reply back saying they don't have time to answer questions.  I appologised and explained I still wanted to buy the item if it contained the information I needed.   I then decided to just take a chance and buy the item, at this point I discovered I had been blocked from buying the item by the seller.    This all seems pretty unfair and not inline with the way things are normally done on ebay.   Is there anything I can do?   Thanks  ... Hi there,   Wondering if anyone can help... unfortunately, it's a bit more complicated than just re-listing an item...   I listed an item during the recent 'Sell 3 Items free with no final valuation fee' promotion and one of the items sold, but the buyer hasn't paid yet.   I was wondering if I have to re-list the item after I issue a 'no payment' claim, would I then have to pay a final valuation fee when the item sells? If I do, then I'd have to pay about £40!   Any help would be gratefully accepted as I can't find any info anywhere.   Cheers!     ... View more

I had an item for sale to uk buyers only. On checkout the buyer had a USA address. I politely cancelled the transaction saying it's a uk sale only. The address in the USA was also associated with a known scam, just typing it in brought up numerous problems with buyers using this address that was effectively a warehouse P.O. Box. The buyer was then quite rude and provided a uk address of a friend. I explained I would only ship to eBay registered address as per ebay policy. The buyer said ok. Then they left me negative feedback dropping my feedback over years from 100 percent to 75 percent! I was surprised they could leave feedback as they had not even purchased the item. I contacted eBay through the help method of asking for feedback to be removed. And got a stock answer that the feedback was within the rules. The only thing I seemed to be able to do was leave an answer to his feedback. Why is it ok for eBay to allow a buyer with an address in a different country, associated with problems, who did not even purchase the product, gets to ruin my feedback.
