I won an auction yesterday, and sent the seller a question about postage costs .  He had not included any so I wanted to know how much to pay so that I could make one single payment. Within an hour or so the seller had cancelled the sale  , claiming a problem with my address. My address details on Ebay are fine and I buy a fair bit of stuff.   No-one else on ebay has made any complaint of a problem.  I think he was just unhappy about the winning bid being insufficient . I bid above the starting price but there were no other bidders  so the sale concluded at starting price . I would have bid more  but you cant bid higher unlerss the is another bidder. Is there a way to search by phrase either by using (brackets) or "speech marks" eg (concrete wall panels) only bringing up actual panels made of concrete rather than all things with any of the words in the phrase; which appears to be what happens now?   ... View more

I sold an item that the buyer upon receipt realised wasnt right for them. Buyer opened a return which I agreed and to a partial refund. But ebay closed the return automatically without issuing the buyer the returns label! not sure what went wrong. A long story short.  I keep bidding on ring. just before end of auction cancells the sale and Bidding  only to put it on again , again I bid this time I win.
