PC serial number

I brought a PC via with a reciept with a two year guarantee, where we have had to claim on the guarantee and it has been nealry a year since we brought it on ebay, the serial number of the pc is incorrect and does not match the product we ahve.  Please advise what can do in this situation.  Report seller to ebay?   any idea if get any £ back?

Sorry it's far too late to do anything via ebay or Paypal.   If you used your credit card give them a ring and see if they can help.   If not you could try the small claims court (now money claim online):

Thought as much any idea if I report to ebay that they willl flag this seller as a potential concern. My feelign is htat they do this every time they want a new pc so want to put a stop to their actions

You can't report someone you haven't been in a recent transaction with. eBay are very unlikely to do anything anyway, unless they get multiple reports from buyers with the same issue.
