I just made a purchase for a graphics card from a seller with 200+ feedback, shortly after paying I got an email from ebay saying the order was cancelled and the item removed with no further information. my card has been charged, I opened a dispute to request a refund but the dispute was immediatly closed because they say I filed a dispute with the payment institution and they ask me to check paypal but there is no dispute with paypal because I didnt use paypal. Please how can I talk to a member of eBay staff?

Hi I won an auction and paid instantly £199.90 ( the seller has good feedback, so I am not feeling its a scam ) I then get a message from him saying dont pay , obviously I have now paid , he said he sold the item on facebook marketplace , but couldnt cancel the auction due to ebays 12 hour policy once there are bids , not sure if this is true , but if it is its not great for buyers . The auction was cancelled and I have a message saying cancellation complete and estimated refund 199.90, but the seller says this money never hit his paypal account , does that sound correct , do ebay block it and then refund the payment ? If so how long does it take normally ?, thanks for any help , but I have been on here 17 years and never had this situation

I have giving a request to refund becuase item was faulty. Seller didnt give address. Tried sending new one saying it will take longer then month. It has been many months and i still havent recievee the item and seller keeps making excusses.

I am based in the UK and won an item coming from the US. At checkout the price of the item has increased by $10. When I contacted the seller I was told that he had invoiced for the winning amount and that this was VAT related. There is no information about this when I go to checkout simply the increase in cost

Hi all, Got scammed out of 960 Euros (just under 1200 USD) for a computer part (Graphics Card). When I received an email saying my item had been delivered I checked the tracking data and the scammer (seller) uploaded tracking data for the wrong address. (A different City from where I live). It also said he was based in France, but the tracking shows the item was dispatched from Finland. (Different Country). The day after I opened my request he uploaded new but RANDOM tracking data (this time it was dispatched from JAPAN and had apparently already also been delivered to me). The delivery date was the same day as the original when I did not get it! When he updated the tracking data the 3-day delay before ebay steps in increased. If a human being compared the two tracking numbers they would realise this is fraud and that I have been blatantly scammed. (In other words, it is not just a case of regular disagreement between buyer and seller). Why has ebay doubled the time before they will step in? (From 3 days until 6 days)? I opened the request on the 2nd just after midnight (so technically the morning of the 3rd) which was the EARLIEST the website/system would allow me to do it. The website now says I can not ask for help until the 8th? I have been an ebay member almost since before ebay started in 2001 - and this has never happened to me before. However, due to being a customer an ebay customer for 20 years, I would have expected ebay to care about me a bit more than this! Thank you, Nicholas Peyton

Hi, i sold an item, the buyer asked to cancel the order which i did, the item is showing as sold in my summary and the money was added to my Sold running total, i don't want to be charged a sellers fee for this item which i have relisted. Regards. Phil.

A buyer in Hong Kong has purchased an item which was listed for delivery in the UK. Im happy to post it to Hong Kong but have noticed alot of threads about IOSS numbers changes Re' Vat and Taxes which Im unable to wrap my head around. Put simply are there additional fees taxes VAT or procedures that i should be aware of as a private seller still recieving payments via Paypal? many thanks

How do I confirm receipt of an item? My seller wants me to do this as she says the money I paid on PayPal is being withheld until the buyer confirms receipt. I paid immediately with PayPal as I always do, so have no idea what I'm meant to do in order to send this confirmation. Any ideas?
