Why am I charged more?

Bought plaque remover £6.68 At paypal checkout it stated £6.68 It was posted from Manchester.  I was charged £7.26 It says tax but its not VAT How can I pay more than I agreed to? How to get a refund on wrong item?

I bought a plant from a seller.It took few months to grow and then started to bloom and I realized he sent m ethe wrong item.I have been trying to get a refund but when I go to the refund option, the item does not show under my purchase list.Seller  said he grew the plant from seeds and he can't give nay further advice, he also did not respond to the refund request.Is there any way I can contact ebay directly? ... eBay history

Whilst trying to message a seller today I kept receiving error messages. Eventually I was asked to sign back into eBay. Never really known my login detail as I've used the app for so long. I signed in using Apple ID (thumb print) however now all of my history has gone. Every item I've bought or watched has disappeared? It also now says I've been a member since 2021?? Item arrived today. Ebay refunded the money.

I contacted the seller to say item hadn't arrived, they said they would send it and would I be happy to wait, I said yes. The item arrived today after which ebay refunded the money. How do I get in touch with ebay to make good the payment to the seller. The message they sent does not take replies. Thanks  ... View more

CUSTOM MADE ITEM

Hi ,   I am selling garments on ebay , also giving service some time for my customers  for custom made . Mostly orders I made as custom made always remained sucessful.   Now I have a issue with a buyer who ordered me for 3 items to make them as custom made. I made them from my manufacturer factory and delivered to buyer in UK but my customer did not happy of its fittings as she claimed and returned items back out side of ebay return request.   I offered her would try to make once more time for you because has been involved much money for custom made as it is more than double than its normal cost. I requested my customer that I will make and  send item one by one sothat this time should be ok, but on first item made again accoring to given measurements my customer rejected again as still not fitted, am afraid on this situation that measurements of my customer provided me might be taken incorrect.  Now my customer is demading whole money but issue is the  items I made for my customer are useless for me and never sell again as they are made of a specific measurements.   My question is:  Will I return money to my customer as these were a custom made items which I made according to given measurements from customer? Is there any law in UK if buyer order for a custom made item and still can return for refund?   will it be buyer own risk or seller is still responsible? Cancel a return

Hi i started a return to the seller after I ordered the wrong item they then said after a day please just send back and they would sort the correct item but don't use eBay return   i had already started it and now I cannot cancel which means the payment to the seller is frozen i have sent the item back via post and the seller is now waiting for the cancel to clear so he can replacment not my fault just delays in emails etc Mick   ... Item already sold privately

I bought an item and paid immediately with PayPal as I always do. 5 hours later a message arrived from the seller to say item had been sold privately and they probably should have taken it down. So I asked for a refund.  Seller disputed payment, then moved to I shouldn't have paid when it wasn't available. I pointed out it was available on ebay at the time. Seller says they won't receive funds for 4 weeks from date of purchase so I'll have to wait and he doesn't care if I have to wait.  Value is under £25  ... View more

Managed payments or Paypal - which is best ?

I've just sold an item for £5, collection only. Ebay sent me £4.06, having taken 64p in final value fees and 30p for the managed payment to my bank account.  The buyer can't collect and asked for refund. When I refunded her the £5, Ebay refunded the 64p final value but took £4.36 from my bank account, so I'm down the 30p managed payment fee. If I'd been thinking straight, I would have only refunded £4.70, but I don't know if Ebay would then pro-rata the final value fee.. If I'd done this transaction through Paypal, would they have refunded all their fees or would I still be down the transaction fee ? ... View more
