How to get a refund on wrong item?

I bought a plant from a seller.It took few months to grow and then started to bloom and I realized he sent m ethe wrong item.I have been trying to get a refund but when I go to the refund option, the item does not show under my purchase list.Seller  said he grew the plant from seeds and he can't give nay further advice, he also did not respond to the refund request.Is there any way I can contact ebay directly?

Didn't you think to mention that you're in Canada? These are the UK boards, why ask us how to contact eBay in Canada?

There would be no point in contacting eBay anyway. If the time limit is the same as in the UK, eBay's money back guarantee only lasts for 30 days.
