Here’s what we recommend to help your application stand out:
- Share your origin story – What sparked your business journey?
- Highlight your achievements – Celebrate what you’ve accomplished on eBay.
- Show pivotal moments – Tell us about defining events that shaped your business.
- Overcome challenges – Let us know what hurdles you’ve faced and how you tackled them.
- Articulate your vision – Explain how winning £10,000 would help you reach your goals.
- Include a short video – It doesn’t need to be fancy.
Pro tip: Focus on the award category that fits your story best. A clear, tailored entry with personality goes a long way.

- Ask friends/colleagues to read over your submission.
- If you find talking easier than writing, record a video entry!
It’ll take about 10-15 minutes to submit your detailed entry. Please note, once you start you won’t be able to save your entry, so make sure you allocate enough time to get it done to the best of your ability or consider saving your work in a document.
Next steps once you’ve submitted your application(s)
Once all the entries are in, our panel of eBay judges will select candidates for each category to make up the shortlist. Voting will then be opened up to the eBay Community and wider public.
Winners will then be selected by an equal combination of community votes and judges scoring.
Don’t forget to submit your entry before the deadline on Friday 20th June 2025.
