Seller agreed to credit me for one of two items less there postage cost, as the item was small enough to fit inside a normal envalope, it was posted back by Royal Mail last December , unfortunatly no tracking no. No refund has been given to date and supplier has not responded to my e mails via ebay and logged, as I also retracted a review for making my mistake which was the reason I requested a return, I cannot review again, can the review be retracted, this would at least be some consolation for what I consider appalling after sales customer service.   Regards Dave ... I didn’t receive an item so contacted seller who basically said it had been dispatched with no other help , so opened a case with eBay, now the sellers provided eBay with a tracking number (which doesn’t match my address postcode) that says its been delivered, so eBay has closed the case.. yes they’ve provided a tracking number for something that’s been delivered somewhere but not to my address which has also been confirmed by Hermes. Can’t find how to contact eBay regarding this & can’t open another case with them, unsurprisingly the seller isn’t responding. Feel like I’ve been totally ripped off with no help from eBay. ... Today I received what looked like an offer email from ebay for the whole amount that the item was listed for.  I did not received the same offer within ebay.  How does a scammer obtain my email address and tie it in with my account and the items I'm selling? Hi,   Some one has broken eBay, as soon as I add filters to any search eBay declares that I must be a bot and blocks the search. Ebay is ignoring my request for assistance in having a counterfeit handbag refunded. My wife has an original of the bag this was to have been a replacement - when it arrived it was clearly a fake.   They actually closed my request for assistance without explaining and are also ignoring all of my queries as to how they allow fake times to be sold without recourse to the buyer.   I see others have had this issue - can anyone shed some light? ... Recently I have received an email from eBay to purchase an adult sex toy products which I never viewed not even viewed a similar item. I am looking at an autographed auction item and looking at the sellers other auctions it looks like the same bidder is currently winning 4 out of 5 items. Nothing new here but the 4 auctions are off 3 different football clubs signed memorabilia (the 5th auction item is still low on bids & is yet another club but this bidder is not bidding on this but it will be interesting to watch & see if they join in near the end like all the other auctions).   Looking into the sellers history I cannot see this bidder having won something so is this just a random bidder or do you think it is shil bidding as I do not want to get into a bidding war with somebody that is getting somebody else to push up the prices? I know we cannot see the full bidders ebay name but it has the same charchters and feedback score for all the items.   I took screen shots last night, is it worth sending these to ebay?     ... Hi All,   My listings were removed based upon lies by ebay. They claim my item was counterfeit and have been reported by Microsoft. I contacted Microsoft who have denied removal of my listing (I have email proof). I contacted ebay again and they said ask Microsoft to contact us which they have already done (again I have email from Microsoft which shows they made contact).   Ebay again is not sorting the issue out and still saying I broke policy and cant even prove it.  The item I am selling was PC hardware driver install DVD which is freely available under GNU license and allowed to be complies and distributed. Currently 1000s are being sold on ebay.   I have already contacted trading standards who are looking into my case. I really don’t know what to do. As it seems I’m going round in a circle with ebay staff who just send me automated screen scripts.   Any advice on who can deal with this matter as I really can’t waste any more time with ebay? ... Why do ebay continue to allow bogus accounts to list fraudulent ads. Its going to hurt them in the long run s someone will start another buy sell site which is actually secure. Look for any high value items and a huge proportion are fake ads. Are they bothered?  ... View more
