Hi there, been selling on Ebay UK for over 20 years now, went to my seller hub page last night ( Monday 11 November 2024) after receiving a couple of orders. Clicked on the usual 'All orders' in the left hand column to fetch up...all orders. But what came up was a mixed up jumble of various dated orders from back in August, July, October, a couple of refunds, and it was just a complete mess.
I refreshed the page, but the exact same thing came up again. This isn't how it usually looks, as everything is normally in date order down the page. The newest orders to the top, the previous days orders, next down and so on going back as far as I need to.
I contacted Ebay this morning firstly via the naff chat bot thingy, and then finally got passed onto a human, just to literally be fobbed off, saying he would speak with their 'Technical Dept.' This was after we spent nearly an hour of me clicking on things he was telling me to try but nothing worked.
I've logged out, and then logged back in, I've tried 3 different computers in the house, and we're all getting the same mixed up jumble of dated orders from during this year on what is usually a straight forward Seller's Hub page.
I'm now having to click on the drop down menu in the middle marked 'Period: last 90 days', with other choices such as today, yesterday, last week etc etc - and just to get me to my newest orders, clicking 'this week' but even those are not in date order but are jumbled up. If I click my usual 'aawaiting despatch' agian they are just all jumbled up.
It's not good as it's slowing me down, and not sure what's happened.
Thanks in advance for any comments.

@thepinkrevolver it sounds like you've accidentally clicked on a column header which has changed the sort order. If you click on the actual words "Date paid" at the top of that column then it'll put them back in order. If they come up in reverse order with oldest first then just click on it a second time to switch it to newest first.

That sounds bizare - I've not seen anything like this myself but would be interested to try to reproduce the problem.
Can I check the page URL you have is ....
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sh/ord/?filter=status%3AALL_ORDERS&sort=-paiddate
... and can I check which browser you are using and the version (usually help-> about on the menus) ... in theory it shouldn't make a differnce but I never say never.
And if you could attach a screenshot of the top of the Seller Hub page with the problem showing (blank out details you don't want to share).

Hi thepinkrevolver, thanks for your post.
That definitely doesn't sound normal, is it still happening to you? If so, you could try using a different browser to see if you get the same issue or not to rule out a browser issue. Alternatively, you can try clearing the caches and cookies of your browser, and if after all this you still run into the same problem, please take a screenshot of it, and I will be happy to get that reported for you, so it can be resolved. If you share a screenshot, please make sure that no sensitive/personal information is shown on the screenshot.
Thank you,
Marco

Hi there and thanks for this. I tried this yesterday as I thought exactly the same, but the screen went white and the wheel of death was spinning for ages. Just thought I'd give it another try tonight and guess what, it's worked, so thanks for the nudge, whatever the glitch was, it's clearly sorted itself, my page is now back to normal, thanks everyone

Thanks for your help, it definitely wasn't the browser or the cache etc, as we tried on three different computer systems, and we all use different browsers. What ever the glitch was, it's now corrected itself. Coincidentally, after speaking with someone at Ebay.......say no more. Thanks again for taking the time out to reply.
