When I try to login I get this message:
Pardon our interruption...
* As you were browsing eBay, something about your browser made us think you were a bot. There are a few reasons this might happen:
* You're a power user moving through this website with super-human speed.
* You've disabled JavaScript in your web browser.
* A third-party browser plugin, such as Ghostery or NoScript, is preventing JavaScript from running
One of my computers crashed and I had to power it off, at that time I had about 22 ebay tabs open,
when the machine came back up - I restored session (which automatically re-opens all those tabs - very quickly) I think this is what triggers this error message about my (super-human speed).
As a result of the error, I was not allowed to login or get help as you have to login for everything.
I logged in via mobile app OK and one of my computers was still logged in and appeared to be working fine (I have about 5 I use for ebay - depending on where I am).
Two of my computers I get the same message everytime, now maybe the browswer is too old to login, but I was logged in before the crash - but they would have been logged in for many months.
If this error has flagged my account as being a bot or some extraterrestrial being, could you please remove that flag from my account.
Account name: siobhansauction
Thank you - very much

For those with dozens of browser tabs open, one possible issue is a setting that updates each tab regularly.
Check the address for Query String Parameters, delete everything to the right of the '?', leaving just '/itm/1234567890’.
The culprit is something like '&auto refresh=true'. You could try replacing 'true' with 'false', to keep all the state-tracking data. Watching an item and reloading from the WatchList also removes non-essential tracking data, so there is no harm. If eBay wanted better tracking, they would use cookies.
It seems to occur when you start the 'Bid' process, but abort it. Just clicking outside the dialog. I don't remember if there is a 'Cancel' button ...
It is very annoying on a slow internet connection when it auto-refreshes just before you placed a last-minute bid!
On the app, the way it locks you out "Determining the winner* preventing you from bidding on two items within a minute or so. Closing the app and re-opening is maybe quicker.
