Mobile App Picture Upload Issue

Hi
I have an issue when uploading picture via the mobile app.
Pictures uploaded via the app are smaller and lose all the quality (see below example of uploaded via app and uploaded any other method)
The issue is from app only, and isnt just my phone it also has the same issue from tablet app
I can upload the pictures via mobile website on phone and it uploads fine no issues

My apps are the latest update
my phone is an iphone 16 pro max

I have repeatedly reached out to ebay for business, and they either say they dont see any issue with the below or they have themselves reached out to the technical team and they said they cant see any problems on ebays side.
I have reset my phone and didnt fix anything
Ive had people say its a format issue but isnt the case since i can upload the same file another method and it works just fine
uploading via mobile internet works but takes longer, would really like to fix my app

We also have the same issue. Always uploaded from the phone and been fine.

I then go to the computer, an iMac, which uses the same photos as on the phone as they are synced and i replaced them all and then they appear how they should.

I have also said to eBay and they don't seem to be bothered. Two listings that I first highligted it in, they got back saying they were fine and zoomed in okay - YES - because i already replaced them from the desktop.

It's madness...

ive bene pushing the ebay tech team for a few weeks, they just keep telling me nothing is wrong, last time they told me that my pictures were taken in the wrong format, totally disguarding the fact i told and showed them that i can present 2 different results using the same image file

They diod awknowledge the images are smaller from the phone, they even suggested trying from a deskop while on the chat and showed that it was fine doing it that way with the same photos.

I even tried using the take a photo through the app just incase my phone was doing something with the photos but its the same result.

So you just use the ebay website through a browser on the phone instead to ensure they are higher res?

It's weird how it just started doing this all of a sudden.
