Hi there. I've received a message from Paypal saying the sender of a payment to me for an item purchased on ebay has requested their financial institution to reverse the payment, reason is they didn't authorise the purchase.   I've had a look at the transaction: The name and address in ebay are the same as the paypal transaction details so there is no discrepancy here.  The RM tracking shows the item was delivered and I've also got positive feedback from the buyer which presumably indicates they got the item and they are happy with this - and that they did buy the item.   I've added the above to the case and a screenshot of the feedback also.   I have however noticed the name of the person disputing the payment isnt the same as the name on the ebay account or the paypal transaction.  Is this a problem?    I can only assume this person let someone else in thir house buy things using their account - I don't understand how this has become my problem?   Can you give me advice please?  Thank you ... Royal Mail prices changed on 1 January 2021 however when updating the postage of  an item it isn't letting me list the item because the postage is too high for the item. The item is £11.15 to post because of weight and insurance under the new prices but it won't let me list it "Postage service cost exceeds £11.00 maximum allowed for selected category."   Does anybody know when they are going to update their 'limits' as I wont sell/post an item where I will be at a loss on the postage even if it is only 15p    I have had this problem before but could list that item in another category, this I can't    Any help would be appreciated   Thanks   ... Only just noticed, although the listings have the vat 20% box checked the invoices are showing vat as £0.00. Any one know why that changed and how i can change it back to calculating the vat? ... View more

I have had my first mandatory reminder email from ebay saying sign up to managed payments   question is I sell items that come under the managed payments retricted catagorys?   will my account get blocked automatically to list? if the reminders continue?   how do I stop this ?   if you sell restricted items - will they end my items to make me move over ?   please help   thanks ... I'm a new ebay seller.   Item sold 21st December (£350), buyer paid soon after. Posted 23rd December Royal Mail "Special Delivery". Delivery attempted 24th December, but "no answer" at address. No updates to Royal Mail "tracking" since, as I assume Royal Mail are waiting for contact from the buyer / addresee.   So NO feedback, and NO delivery confirmation.   PayPal funds are on ebay "hold", as I'm a new bay seller, until 12th Jan, although they said 5th Jan originally.   Buyer NOT responding to ebay messages / email, at all...   Royal Mail will "return to sender" at some point, but I'm suspicious of this buyer..., as he seems to be buying high value items..., and as no communication from him at all...   I believe he can "file a case" and get an automatic ebay refund at some point ???   Any help much appreciated... ... Hi.    As a seller, should I be concerned if a buyer has 0% feedback and a fake name?. The seller has 0 feedback (created 25th Dec) and they are calling themselves my sweetheart in french (That's not their username). The buyer has payed quickly through Paypal though after the auction. I'm assuming It won't be an issue if I have proof of postage incase the buyer is dodgy right? Just wanted to check.   Thanks   ... View more
