Please how can I block a nuisance member?
Thanks
Adding to the advice already given -
If the “nuisance member” has a mind to they could cause you a lot of trouble simply by claiming/reporting that you are a business seller trading as a private seller [several hundred brand new items under 'Health & Beauty'].
Best to ensure you are covered.
In addtion to the advice which has already been given, which will prevent the buyer in question from being able to purchase anything from you, if you want to stop him/her from sending you unwanted e-mails via the Contact Seller link on your listings click on this link https://offfer.ebay.co.uk/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences and a page entitled Buyer Management will appear on the screen. Scroll right down to the bottom of the page and tick the box next to the sentence that reads "Don't Allow Blocked Buyers To Contact Me" and from that point onwards the buyer in question should not be able to contact you. However, if you have recently been involved in a transaction with this buyer the blocks will take longer to kick in than they otherwise would have done, but once they do the buyer will not be able to harass you with any further unwanted e-mails, as they will just end up getting blocked.
In order to make sure that the buyer can't try to bypass your blocks and find another way to message you click on his/her User ID. There are two buttons on the page that appears - one is to add to friends, so ignore that one. The second is the option to block messages from that user. Click on the second button and confirm that you want to block any messages from that user, as if you do that as well then the buyer in question will not be able to contact you via the eBay Community Forums by sending you a private message as a result of having been blocked from contacting you via your listings.
