I want ebay to help me resolve problem with returned shoes.  Looked at resolution centre but nothing fits in with help I need.  What can I do? Buyer has returned shoes to me which she claims "Just exploded" the first time she wore them.  I had worn them on several occasions and decided to sell them as they were too big.  The rubber bits on heels look as if bits have been deliberately pulled off.  The shoes have been totally destroyed.  I find it hard to believe that both shoes would have exactly the same damage.   ... On watch forums there are quite a few stories of watches being sold and when received the recipient claiming that the box was empty then ebay siding with the buyer and the seller loses the watch and the money. I have sold a few watches over the years but this is by far the most expensive so hoping for some tips to mitigate the danger of this happening. Also as a further question I have posted in the past using Royal Mail Next Day before 1PM which covers up to £500 but I see they also do an additional cover up to £2500 but as I've never used this option could someone tell me if this is something I can arrange at the time of posting or is it something I have to set up before hand.  Thanks ... I selected Ebay packalink (Hermes) for delivery option and buyer is charged £2.85. When I go to purcahse the label I am being charged £2.90 (same price as on MyHermes website).   Whereas if I had charged the buyer for RM postage £3.10 I would pay less than that if I brought it online.   I only selected Ebay packalink as it is easier for me but did not realise buyers are not being charged the price I pay.   I know the difference is only 5p but I would like to know why Ebay are not charging £2.90 to the buyers.      ... why is my 90 day total drastically different from the balance in my PayPal account? the difference is around £100.   Is the 90 day total wrong? or does it include money from people who have yet to pay?    My selling fees aren't high because the items aren't very expensive.   I'm just a bit confused! ... Someone bid on my item 1 hour and 50 minutes before it ended. I watched the auction end and it said highest bid £xx. No one else bid and the auction ended. However, despite there being a bid showing, the item was then shown as unsold. How can this be possible? Surely a bidder cannot pull a bid in the dying seconds.  ... View more

Hello,  I was advised that when I cancel a transaction I automatically get asked if I would like a 2nd chance to offer the sale to the second highest bidder but I cant find this option.  Before I press submit do I click the box marked relist the item or not?  Any advice very welcome  many thanks! ... Hi    I sold an item on eBay (#133413138168), the buyer gave me negative feedback as he says the item was broken. He made no contact at all, giving me no possibility to correct the problem. I`ve encountered a very nice, extremely beautiful 100+ years old Fountain Pen in excellent condition. The brand is famous for collectors around the world. Waterman has made some of the most, if not the most ultra extra refined and perfect gold nibs. Their tines are long and slender, the slit holds strong, and the shoulders of the nib allow a very big and wet variation of the line. In other words, these nibs are FLEXIBLE. They come in various materials and colours that today are not longer available.   The seller has done a perfect job by providing ultra HD photos, with writing samples all over the table, with close-ups and panoramas. Moreover, he has full positive feedback, quite a long history and he also endeavored to record up a video of the item. His description seems legit.   The question is, how can I be sure about the quality of the nib? Is it made out of 14k gold as he claims? There is no reason why I should not believe him, since the item is very rare and he put a huge effort in rendering his listing...but there is also a second BUT!!!
