how do I dispute feedback

Hi

I sold an item on eBay (#133413138168), the buyer gave me negative feedback as he says the item was broken. He made no contact at all, giving me no possibility to correct the problem. The item was a 50 year old toy car, with good pictures to see the condition of the item and I wrote in my decription to see the pictures for the condition. Please help.

Kind regards Mark

The buyer should not have jumped inn to leave a negative, the correct procedure is to open a Not As Described Case, you provide a reply paid label if you want it back, if not you refund through the case.

Buyer then leaves feedback based on how efficiently you dealt with the problem.

It is too late now to do anything, you have to sort out within 30 days. The fact that buyer only has 26 feedback explains that they don't know how to deal with problems.

EBay doesn't get involved in the fairness of feedback, only whether it contravenes any of their feedback policies.

In cases like this, all you can do is try to resolve the problem with the buyer, and if successful send them a request to revise their feedback:

What counts is the date it was left, which we can't see. You have to send the request within 30 days of receiving it, and the buyer has 10 days to revise it.
