Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.
I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo.
anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

I have stopped listing too. I can’t see the point at the moment. The Buyers Protection is almost as much as some of my sales so it is not viable. It makes my collectibles really expensive. I don’t sell enough to become a business. I can’t see EBay changing anything. Private buyers are no longer wanted. Very short sighted EBay. We are your bread and butter.

Yes this has happened to me too it's so frustrating - I did suggest to my buyer to pay if they wish and i would refund the excess - that was this morning and as yet no reply. so frustrating!

ebay prefer it to look like its the sellers fault, hence zero communications - same as for Buyers Protection charges , who would believe that the fee wasn't set by the Seller when its part of the order and not a separate payment.

LOL - of course they do , im amazed if anyone falls for promotions and 'Offer' deals after all sellers have been through with ebay.
Isnt it ebays function to bring buyers to what sellers pay ebay to show anyways?

Agreed, they've inflated private sellers prices against their will, making them wait for their sales money so they can earn interest/invest and then want us to pay them to unhide our listings!
You couldn't make it up but looking at the decisions ebay make through the lens of greed, it all makes perfect sense. Hopefully they'll come unstuck with the changes they make due to their grasping, snatching greedy hands and someone else will take them over and start running it without contempt for their customers i.e. buyers and sellers.

I specifically advertised that I would combine postage by sending an invoice, without knowing this would be a problem. Unhappy customers now. Needs fixing please, or I'll sell elsewhere.
