Last minute bidders question

Ive tried dummy run listings & so far i can still list an item weighing well under 100gm in the doll clothes category with a starting bid of £6.00 with custom delivery.
My buyers are usually repeat ones & often pay lightening fast,

What happens if i get a last second bidder that suddenly takes the auction over the £10 limit ?
Are they still going to pay the custom charge that i set or are Ebay going to put their charge on immediately ?

Last minute bidders question

This is eBay's answer to BPF on auction,  umm I agree it's as clear as......  🙄

How is this fee calculated for Auctions when the final selling price isn't known yet?

When you enter a starting bid, we add the Buyer Protection fee so you can see what the buyer's minimum bid amount will be. As the Buyer Protection fee is variable, the fee amount that the buyer actually pays is calculated as part of the final auction selling price.

By including the fee in the buyer's bid price, we're making it simple and transparent so buyers always know what they'll pay and sellers know how much they'll receive.
