Having been on Ebay for some 20+ years now - Is Ebay still a viable place to sell on?
As a business seller - the dramatic fall in sales this year is very worrying. As a full-time seller, I depend on Ebay sales - which for the most part of those 20+ years were good. Now, unless you have a YouTube Channel to support the items you buy from car-boot sale etc for 25p - then sell on Ebay for £10 - It seems a luxury which most of us do not have.
Getting Ebay to call you with concerns about your shop and general selling, results in someone far far away, callng you, that doesn't actually even use the site to buy/sell on, and usually tells you that the IT department will look into it - also known as throwing your concerns into the bin.
With constant changes on Ebay, and wanting extra profit for themselves, by getting us to promote items at a higher rate - purely to have any chance of visibility, are we just wasteing our time trying to sell on Ebay.
We are the customers at the end of the day, and support over our concerns should be taken more seriously than we get from a pleasant, but often useless Customer Representative.
