Hello.
Has anyone here in the U.K dealt with SDA U.K Operations Centre? I have a parcel that was sent to me via Poste Italiane (13/02/2024) but is now apparently being held at the above centre due to a non-delivery (I was not in). There was no non-delivery slip posted through the letterbox so I'm not entirely sure whether its at this place or simply at my local Post Office. I can track my parcel to this centre, but I can't find a location or contact address. Should I stop worrying and just go to my Post Office?

Hello did you get your parcel I'm dealing with the same thing but they are saying I've not paid fees I don't know where to even go as they don't have a HQ in the U.K.

Hello I have the same problem with that absolutely horrible SDA UK shipping company or whatever it is. Do you have any progress on your end?

Go to parcelforce web site, then click receiving parcel, type in your SDA tracking number and you find out what's going on.

This is my experience today.
The parcel will have been handed over to Parcelforce to deliver in the UK. However, to track it you need the internal UK tracking number NOT the one provided by SDA.
I phoned Parcelforce customer services (0344 800 4466) for help. They could not track it via the SDA tracking number but managed to find it by searching using the delivery address and postcode. They then told me the UK tracking number and the location of the depot it was being held at.
You can pay the customs charge at the depot provided you have the UK tracking number and the "Customs Charge Payment Reference" which the very helpful people at Parcelforce were also able to give me.

I got the UK Parcelforce tracking number from Poste Italiane. On the Parcelforce website tracking I discovered that my parcel was being held at the Parcelforce depot at Hatfield. I went there. Customer service. Was attended to by a very polite professional young man. Paid the import duties and was out with my parcel within 15 minutes.

Very helpful, thank you. Same issue .. poste italiane parcel arrived in uk .. tracking on italian site showing as "in consegna" (delivering) ... But it had been that way for 3 days.
I only had the italian tracking number and no idea who the UK courier was.
I phoned to check with parcelforce & gave them the tracking number.. they said it wasn't with them...
I found this site :
which reported "DESTINATARIO NON HA PAGATO " ( RECIPIENT HAS NOT PAID )
I read your post ( a 2nd time) and called parcelforce again.. on 0344 800 4466 ..this time giving them my delivery address details to search by (INSTEAD of just the italian tracking number) ..magic.. !! they found the parcel, gave me the UK parcelforce tracking number and a 17 digit reference number to enter at :

..so that the import duty could be paid & a delivery date scheduled.. Job done !! 🙂

I didn't even get that ,just a message email saying that it was delivered , but who to ask I didn't get my parcel , it's mental mate , Ivan imagine how frustrating it is

If contacting Parcelforce's customer service number fails to yield any progress for anyone else, the next best approach would be contacting Poste Italiane's customer service email address at servizio.clienti@posteitaliane.it.
I sent them an email after not making any progress when contacting Parcelforce's customer service twice over the phone. In the email, I asked them to provide the UK tracking code for the package and gave them the Italian tracking code so they could search for it.
They responded the next day with an automatically generated email (in English!) with the corresponding international tracking code. I could enter this tracking code into Parcelforce's website and view the status of my shipment from there.
Hopefully, this method also helps some poor soul out there!
