I emailed a seller a question about a dimension that was important to my purchase decision. He responded but didn't give the answer immediately but said he would get back to me. When no further email arrived after some time I chased the matter twice by email and then even wrote a polite letter to him. I decided today to take a risk and purchase the item anyway but find that he will now not sell to me, presumably because of risk of bad feedback. So EBay have no telephone customer contact support, their online support service is extremely frustrating and full of loops and cul de sacs and instead of supporting customers they do everything they can to resist getting involved in disputes themselves.  ... View more

Hi all, Having a problem listing items for sale. Have been an ebay member since 2008 and never had a problem before. Also finding it impossible to get help from ebay so I'm not impressed with their customer service.   Everytime I try to list it says "your account is connected to an account that's already restricted or limited". I've received a policy violation message from Ebay informing me that my account will be removed if I do not abide by their policy.  As far as I am aware I have never infringed their policy and have certainly never done any of the things that were mentioned on their list.  I have not updated my seller information as I no longer wish to sell via Ebay - could this be why I received the message?  Was this an error on Ebay's side and will it affect my  buyer account in the future? Hi,  How doe the buyer confirm that they've collected an item or the seller confirm something has been collected?  I'm the buyer but the seller wants to confirm, on the system, that the item has gone.  They apparanently can't 'confirm despatch' without a six digit code (to some phone) which needs me confirming I've collected.  But, I can't find any way to do that.  Help! ...
