Hi, How doe the buyer confirm that they've collected an item or the seller confirm something has been collected? I'm the buyer but the seller wants to confirm, on the system, that the item has gone. They apparanently can't 'confirm despatch' without a six digit code (to some phone) which needs me confirming I've collected. But, I can't find any way to do that. Help!
Explain to the seller that it is not mandatory to use that code. Indeed not all sellers use an app which is needed here.
Advise them to use the Seller Hub.
Go to All Orders >> Awaiting Payment
Click on the square next to the item.
Use the 'More' drop down at the top of the page.
Mark as Payment Received.
Mark as Dispatched.
All you can do your end, is to leave good feedback.
Like said not everyone uses the app, I certainly don't use that useless device, and that is needed here to confirm a collection delivery but you have to have the app. This code is a recent innovation, fine for anyone using the hopeless app, and fine if the buyer brings the code they don't have to.
For a collection item it's always best tyo accept cash after purchase.
In your case all you can do is for the buyer to leave you good feedback and the money should be released sooner.
