I bought some toothpaste from a seller and the stamps were fraudulent so the post office made me pay £3.50. I tried to get this reimbursed from the seller but the seller won't communicate EBay won't help they say I should return the goods but then I will be out of pocket completely I don't know how to contact eBAY I have tried many ways including the auto version and i go around in circles Is eBay sanctioning the fraudulent use of postage stamps? ... Advice on what my options are please: -   1) Listed item of furniture via auction. 2) Bidder contacted me to ask if they could 'buy it now' & asked price. 3) Told them if they could move it by the weekend they could have it for £25. 4) Buyer agreed (via Ebay message). Changed to 'buy it now'. Bidder paid promptly. 5) Bidder asked for address details immediately. Info provided same day plus contact no. 6) Sent a few messages to buyer 'when will you arrive?' etc. No responses. 7) Weekend passes. Send more messages (all via ebay). No replies at all. 😎 Ebay pays me for the item after 21 days. 9) Still no contact from buyer. 10) Checked buyer's rating - says 100% positive but when I look at the actual comments most of them say 'time waster', 'avoid' or are pretty negative. 11) Still have item. Still need to get it moved.   So what are my rights? Can I sell it again? I don't care about the £25. I just want to get the item moved as it is in the way. Hi.   I need help as a buyer is getting quite nasty with me after I requested a refund for an item that I believeto be a fake. I have been called a scammer and have also been threatened with the police. The seller also seems to think that the item that they sent me I am going to swap for an actual fake one, keeping the genuine one for myself. I don't know what to do as I have tried to contact eBay to report this seller. But am getting nowhere. All I want is to send the item back and get a refund. There is no scamming, no trying to fraud anyone or any sort of ill intent on my behalf whatsoever. But every time I try to reply back to their next message to reassure them they just come back with more. The next thing now is they want serial numbers and pictures of the item that I am sending. I paid the return postage to the seller throguh their link but it isnt enough to cover the weight of the item. Hi all, Rooky mistake made. Set up personal account rather than business account (I think) and have been banned from selling on Ebay. I did call help line immediatley but customer service wouldn't give me a reason for the ban nor indeed talk to me. I have literally trawled help forums etc to work out what I did wrong.
