Advice on what my options are please: -
1) Listed item of furniture via auction.
2) Bidder contacted me to ask if they could 'buy it now' & asked price.
3) Told them if they could move it by the weekend they could have it for £25.
4) Buyer agreed (via Ebay message). Changed to 'buy it now'. Bidder paid promptly.
5) Bidder asked for address details immediately. Info provided same day plus contact no.
6) Sent a few messages to buyer 'when will you arrive?' etc. No responses.
7) Weekend passes. Send more messages (all via ebay). No replies at all.
😎 Ebay pays me for the item after 21 days.
9) Still no contact from buyer.
10) Checked buyer's rating - says 100% positive but when I look at the actual comments most of them say 'time waster', 'avoid' or are pretty negative.
11) Still have item. Still need to get it moved.
So what are my rights? Can I sell it again? I don't care about the £25. I just want to get the item moved as it is in the way. All communication documented on Ebay.
Any advice gratefully received, thanks
You can cancel transaction and relist. Go to the dropdown arrow next to the item on your sold page > Cancel order > Something wrong with buyer's address, which is the nearest one to this situation as it's possible they are too far away to collect. The refund will be issued automatically.
