Why is it that ebay can hold my Business to ransom?   I subscribe for a shop at roughly £80.00 a month, and this gives me 1500 listings and 300 auction style - My monthly ebay invoice is usually about £500 - £550.    However! I can NOT list any items and also CANNOT revise any of my listings (272 listings I have) and also I can't set any Private listings up for bespoke items..!   WHY?   Because ebay say they have stopped me from doing this due to "Not Registering" for ebay managed payments to let them to have:   24 hr 7 days a week access to MY Business Account! Refund Buyers without my say so! To send items ASAP! For me to wait 4 working days to get my payment off ebay! To wait another 4 working Days to access my money in my Bank Then for me to get Bank charges for every transaction   So basically my weekly sales have dropped from roughly £1200 - £1600 a week to a record low of less than £200 a week.... since they have stopped (BLOCKED) me from accessing my items etc.   I'm asking for HELP, so if there's any Professional people out there who could give me some advice on whether I can seek Legal action against these people holding my families Business to ransom. Hi. My personal account has been restricted because ebay says it is linked to another account with restrictions on it. This account is an old business I worked for but left six years ago. There is no way to contact the previous business owners. Has anyone found a way to speak to ebay directly to get accounts 'unliked' - as this is stopping me from creating personal listings? After nearly 20 years on Ebay I now spend more time on Amazon. The reason being is simple. Feedback is a two way system. Nowadays many sellers want feedback but will not reciprocate. Ebay should have a function whereby if feedback is not reciprocated your original feedback can be withdrawn. Till then I will continue to shop more on Amazon where both buyers and sellers are treated equally. ... View more

I sold an item ages ago.  It's a collection only one and was paid for by PayPal. Despite numerous messages it's still uncollected. Not valuable and the buyer is only about 3/4hr drive away. I sell an item for £55 plus actual postage cost excluding packing of £4.20. Lovely ebay give me £51.10 which I'm told i have to wait for. I still have to post the item which as mentioned costs £4.20 to send. So basically from £59.20 I end up with just £46.90 in total and over £8 of that to ebay. So nearly £13 to sell and post a small item.  What kind of vultures are these people?  That is well over 20% taken in fees and postage that they also take fees on..!  ... View more

Hello...   I saved up money for a DJI Mavic Mini to take with me during a much... much needed holiday break next week. I bought it from a seller on eBay with good rating, so I thought all was good.   But the seller took four days to post it because "he needed the money to be deposited into his bank account first" as he said to me. On Monday I got notice from eBay the drone was posted using Royal Mail 2nd class and it is now Friday, royal mail has come by already, and no drone still.   Seller has gone radio silent when I asked on Thursday as to where it is. No reply still... even when I opened a missing item case with eBay.   The seller also had a shop with plenty of items, and 100% good feedback, so I assumed he was okay... but today that shop of his disappeared. His hundred or so items just... vanished.   As far as I'm aware, if he did post the drone on Monday using 2nd class, it should of have been here. He should of have replied to my message already. And its just... radio silence from both eBay AND the seller days before my holiday.   eBay cannot step in until 30 of June, which is completely ridiculous. There is definately no drone coming here and if I don't get my money on time, I wont be able to get another one. 30 of June is the day they step in, not the day they refund me. Who knows how long that would take.   I got the idea of getting the reference number on the 2nd class postage and call Royal Mail to see if there was even anything handed in. Its not a tracked service I know but there is in fact a reference number with information that eBay doesnt show to buyers for some reason. Is there no way I can retrieve this?   Is there nothing I can do? ... View more
