We have noticed a sudden decline in sales and since last week we are on Zero.
Has anyone else noticed this issue and is this related to any new changes by Ebay.
What happened to our once best selling platform.

Yes and thats only what we see.......listed separately at the same time was a fully hallmarked large silver cuff bangle 😞
No defects no restriction on our account...nothing
I have lots to list......but no point

Maybe ending the listing and relisting it again tomorrow might work. It is an odd thing though and quite a few people seem to mention it, an error somewhere in ebays listing programme maybe.

I'll throw my hat into the selling limitations ring. I've always wondered if ebay works some sort of sales quota based on some complicated theory which has been translated into an imperfect algorithm. I can remember when the majority of my sales used to be to London or other high population area. Now these sales are very spasmodic, but when I am 'open' to these areas - sales, views & impressions are always up. The difference has become tangible. When I'm not I know I'm going to be picking up the odd sale here and there no matter what I do. I've been watching these patterns in my sales for some time. I know there are those who will disagree with me just because it doesn't happen for them, but that doesn't mean its not real.

When we used to sell most of what we listed we also noticed a pattern. Say we sold 5 items then 4 would go all over Scotland. It did seem that specific area of the country were buying our items.

Where is your other place for more expensive items? I’m having to drop down to ridiculous prices here!
thanks

It's absolutely horrendous at the moment. I am getting to the point where Vinted seems a better option. Having used Ebay on and off for over 10 years, I can safely say this is the worst it has ever been.
Ebay need to take responsibility for this and rectify the situation they have caused.

As someone who has sold on eBay in the past and purchased a lot of items over the past 20 years it is now the last place to look for anything.
As a buyer they have decimated their once excellent search engine which is now next to useless for me
As a seller (private) I did sell a lot of things last year but they were specialist items and I had to be very careful how I listed them so they could even be found by people.

You can thank ebay for the stupid changes they made in February 2205 regards to sellers funds being held on items over £750 that don't qualify for simple delivery.i can't post some of my items out because of ebay holding funds including postage costs which i need to pay the courier to post items out.
Buyers now charged a so called buyers protection fee that has always been free since ebay started in late 1990's. sellers prices look higher than there listed at due to this. ow they are forcing everyone onto simple delivery you have a choice of two couriers which don't deal in larger sized parcels or do tube poster option as royal mail do. so i've had to advertise my large cinema quad posters as locla pick up only because the measurements are to big for the max of a medium parcel and again they arn't offering royal mails tube option, they have presumed they know it all. so if you have larger parcel that only couriers like parcelfroce or dpd will deal with your stuck to post out! I do list elsewhere where I can offer postage options but it's still tough! but yes it's the way ebay is going now that is upsetting people, i'ts even been on bbc radio 4 about 2 months ago that they seem to be driving the private seller out.

except the seller is making some money to afford the fees! I'd rather that than loose buyers becuase they are fightened off by fees. i too have bought 3/4's less on ebay in last few months due to this. so yes it DOES MATTER who pays the fees.

ebay don't need to listen to the people who got them where they are, they know it all don't you know! hope you got that pun there. your right in everything you say complaints have come in on their facebook page, other forms like money saving expert, i started a pettin months ago on change, ebay reps must notice things on here to a point because when i posted my pettin, they took down my post! my sales are all down and need things gone by next year due to house move plans and most things are to valuable to give away. tried other places to sel but selling either. 😞

your right complaints are no posted on, and when are told they have been passed onto the relevant department, you never hear back form that department. 3 years ago i was given a postal address to write to as I had pages of complaints the address was in southern ireland so costs a lot to send. the letter came back with a pink stamp over address saying "person not at premises" I was on the phone to a supervisor for 45 minutes, she said address is correct. i was given address for london which was not replied to. last year i was given the ireland head office address again to write to, and again it came back with a pink sticker over it saying nobody here. i googled it on live maps and the location is a business park but not the ebay business the business name was something else at that location. suspicious the way this company acts.

Maybe you should understand how fees work then, as you quite obviously don't.
It really doesn't matter whether they are added on, or included in the price.
They are charged regardless.
Just to make it really simple.
Seller is selling at £10 plus the BPF = £11.15 Fees charged are £1.15
Seller gets in their hand £10!
Seller is selling at £11.15 with fees included at 11.9% +30p means that the fees charged are £1.63 +vat = £1.96
That means that sellers gets in their hand £9.19
Now can you not see anything wrong here?
Private seller STILL are far better off than business sellers. Yet your suddenly being taxed. It really is idiocy this, which has been compounded by the various sources repeating this rubbish.
But I bet your still charging a higher price and haven't reduced your prices to allow for this have you.
